It’s funny, people are saying the Celtics were finally at full strength last night, ignoring the fact that Horford didn’t play at all, like having him play against another teams bench versus a guy like Queta isn’t another cheat code.

I was at the game Monday, good seats, likely my only game in person for the season. Good lord this team is (the) Deep (ode to The Boys). The center position once a spot where they were weak is now about 4 players deep you wouldn't mind seeing on the court in KP, Horford, Green Kornet and Queta, my friend I went to the game with who grew up in Philly even mentioned how deep the bench was when I guy like Jaden Springer is barely playing. He thinks the Celtics stole him and that it was a great move for the C's. Right now we are at least 10 deep. Hopefully Queta does not have his minutes cut with KP back but the minutes are finite so someone is getting their minutes cut.

If the Magic win their game tonight (which they are up 12 on a not good nets team) and defeat the Knicks, we'd likely have a better point differential than the Knicks. Assuming we win tonight we'll have a better point differential than the Bulls. Pistons are the only other team to watch out for, but who knows what happens there. I think our chances aren't terrible. |
