Horford sadly is a shell.... Maybe tonight but for the most part this season he’s largely been the same guy as last year

Pritchard has become a modern version of Vinnie "Microwave" Johnson. What a great scoring threat he has become for them.

Horford sadly is a shell.... If this season is what Horford is when he turns into a shell, sign me up. He was a little passive last night but guys been great this year. It’s end of November, let’s let him coast a bit for a couple months.

He will have an outstanding legacy. Last night he played 25 minutes with 1 rebound and 2 points. I don't see him as a guy who would coast...not in his DNA. I hope that we can get some interior offensive and defensive help at the trade deadline.

Beat Cle on Sunday and we own the NBA best record. Not shabby at all. Keeping healthy, staying motivated are the keys.

He’s shooting 43% from 3 while getting 10-5-2.5 and ~2 STOCKS. Had some big moments both offensively and defensively. Last week against the Cavs he went 20-7 with 3 blocks and a +18 in a 3 point win. So plz tell me more about how he’s washed

Anyone seen anything on White's foot issue?

Horford can’t score inside anymore and is bad on the boards. But they don’t really need those skills from him on this roster (they have more than enough scoring elsewhere and guys like Tatum, Brown, White and Holiday are plus rebounders for their positions), and Horford’s floor spacing, passing and defense more than make up for his other deficiencies. He’s a role player at this point in his career, but a damned good role player that any team in the league would love coming off the bench for them. There’s aren’t more than a handful of backup big men that I’d prefer over him (and none that are realistically available in a trade for the Celtics).

Anyone seen anything on White's foot issue? Mazzulla said after the game that White said he’d be fine, so doesn’t sound like a long-term issue.

He was also walking around without a wrap or a boot so it seems fine. Wouldn’t surprise me if they sat him tomorrow just because they have that luxury so if it’s sore, why not?

I wish that we had better interior defense and offensive versatility. As good as we are creating opportunities for and canning 3s, I would love a bit more versatility.

While he has sat one game of B2B's Horford's also been overplayed the first month with Kristaps out. He should be a 20 minute a night guy who can reach in the bag and have a throwback game 2x in a series or the right matchup when we need it. I can't see this team bringing in any higher priced addition at the deadline barring injury, Queta and Kornet are great options at their salaries and this team was kind of pinching pennies at the margin with Lonnie Walker and the last roster spot (and the massive apron upcharge). Could see them in the market for the right buyout guy or maybe moving Tillman for a similar low cost flyer, frankly I'm a little confused by why Joe drops him from the rotation completely at times with KP out, he's not great but seems like he adds a skillset Queta and the Green Kornet don't bring.

The interesting thing about the three headed monster of Tillman, Queta and Kornet is that they all bring different skillsets and might be the right player in the right matchup. That’s pretty useful in the playoffs. I also think they are all professional enough not to take it personally when they rack up a few DNPs in a row.

Bet no one saw Drew Peterson getting big minutes in this game. Hit a big 3 when the team was struggling for points too. Playing over Walsh and Tilman is very interesting. Kornet getting time over Questa in this one also.

Not sure how I feel about it to be honest; maybe they wanted more shooting?

Celtics are probably gonna lose this but they played it much better than the game they won against Cleveland. They are attacking obvious mismatches against Cleveland. If they played a 7 game against Cavs with this mentality they win in 6.

Hard to criticize Tatum too much, but these have been awful possessions by him down the stretch.

The Cavs are really good, but they just don’t feel like a real threat to the Celtics in a playoff series.

They missed Jaylen and D White in the first 4 minutes of the 4th quarter while Tatum was on the bench. Lead went from 12 to 6 in those minutes and then Mitchell just went crazy in the final minutes. Coulda/Shoulda won it, but without 2 of their starters and Jrue with an off night, they put a good effort in and almost pulled it out.

Not surprised at all by Queta/Kornet, Neemias got torched by Cleveland game 1, he's just too small vs the Allen/Mobley frontcourt who can match his mobility.

He’s bigger than both of those guys How big do you think Queta is? He’s 7’ 245 lbs Agreed that he looked bad against them but I don’t think it was a size thing

It’s a similar situation with Kornet. But once they encounter other actual bigs, their advantages disappear. They can’t shoot or defend in space, so they are totally neutralized against actual big men.

Last night was one of the Celtics’ best games of the season. They attacked matchups better than in any game this season. Mitchell had a historic 4th quarter. Otherwise, Boston wins that game rather easily. Very encouraging.
More Pritchard dribble attacks please.
