Anybody know how long the games usually last at Hadlock? Is it on par with MLB or is it a bit quicker/slower than MLB? Trying to go to a 6pm game in June and grab reservations at Fore Street afterwards. I would estimate a little less than 3 hours. The four 9-inning games in the last week were 2:43, 3:18, 2:40 and 3:01. (The 3:18 game was the 17-12 slugfest.)

I think Olivarez should come in after Liu. He's warming on field now while Liu finishes warming in bullpen.

Drive seem to be irritated that Worcester's 20 runs last night stole the thunder from their 15. They're clearly shooting for 21 today.

Does anyone know if Yosander Asencio is related to Vladimir? Have been waiting forever for him to get a scouting report. He is the one player I know was in camp when I was there in March that I somehow never managed to photograph, which is annoying.

Sal Romano starting for the WooSox. No idea if Gambrell might come in later. It's been raining in Worcester all day, though it may clear by gametime--wondering if they want to plan on an opener in case of a delay, and let Gambrell warm up once it seems clear they can get the game in.

They took Blaze back to the clubhouse on a cart between innings.

I believe Chad Epperson just got tossed for trying to explain to the umpires that if an outfielder tries to catch the ball, but fails to catch the ball, and instead picks it up off the ground and throws it in, the batter is not out and the runner on base can advance.

Yeah, I have not found eating before going to the game to be a chore in Greenville.

I would honestly toss out Hoppe's inning today--totally one of those "whatever can go wrong will go wrong" kind of things. He deflected balls hit back at him *twice* trying to make plays and the Mayer error didn't help.

WooSox postponed--they'll play a doubleheader Saturday at the originally scheduled start time (4:05pm).

Does anyone have the schedule for the Florida Complex League? I know it starts on May 4 but can't seem to find any information. Thanks! So nobody has the schedule? Any idea when it will be made public? I'm hoping to take in A LOT more games this year. Cespedes and Arias I can only confirm that my source, who will need the schedule even more than we do, doesn't have it yet either. Last year it was released about a month before games started.

Somewhat unrelated but why is Chris Paddack pitching in a backfield game? These games were on the Twins back fields, and the Twins were either off or on the road today--might have slotted in as his day to pitch but they didn't want to have him travel or wait. I'm told Correa went over to JetBlue to get some ABs in the higher level game.

This feels like a much more natural progression from having everyone on site in spring training. Also the Fort is nicer in May than in August/September.

I thought these were described as doubleheaders, but it looks the the Red Sox will host the Braves minor leaguers March 16 while the big club is on the road.

Red Sox schedule: March 14: at Phillies, announced as 1:05pm March 15: hosting Twins, time TBA March 16: at Orioles, announced as 1:05pm March 17: split squad, hosting Yankees, on the road at Braves, both times TBA
March 15 would certainly work for both teams. But if that's the plan I hope they announce it soon because someone needs to change her flight.
