I think I cried a little bit there but I can’t remember.

This is a Heat team that will ruthlessly exploit a bad defender, so I would prefer to stay away from Pritchard and Hauser. Agreed. Season on the line and if they lose it’s Cancun time, so Brown and Tatum need to play well over 40 minutes.

I continue to think that they are a more talented team than the Heat, but they now have no margin for error. The Heat balled out of their damn minds in Game 1 and 2, Boston overcorrected and played tight in Game 3. Miami is very likely winning this series because they got insanely hot for a couple of games. It’s almost like a baseball series in that sense, which is not very common in the NBA.

Great win. Win at home in G5 and then anything can happen. More Grant, less Brogdon this series. Grant balled. He’s too good for being a bench rider.

Mazzulla's getting the lion's share of the blame, but he's just a scapegoat. Offensively, this team has defaulted to iso play in big situations over and over again because, at the end of the day, Tatum is infected with an acute case of Kobe brain and neither he nor Brown has good enough court vision to play otherwise. Defensively, guys like Brown and Smart and White who are supposed to be All-Defensive caliber players keep getting beat off the dribble and losing their man off ball. The gutsiest move would be to keep the team together and give it another go next year. Getting beat like this is embarrassing but this is still one of the best rosters in the league and hopefully the humiliation of going out this way motivates them more next year. I suspect ownership is going to want to shake it up, though. Why even have a coach then? Tatum being too ISO prone or guys getting lost in rotations wouldn't theoretically happen if the team was well coached. I think Mazzulla's impact in the series is not that huge considering Miami is shooting the lights out and would probably win against any team right now. But he has done an HORRENDOUS job for the third series in a row. He's just not ready for this.

Fire Joe Mazz, hire Bud or Nurse, trade someone for a starting big because Al is ancient and Timelord has been mid, extend Brown or send his ass to China and let’s win it all next year.

One really atrocious quarter, Heat couldn't miss anything and even hit some idiotic circus shots, Celtics missing a lot of FTs, I mean damn, it feels like everything that could have gone wrong in this game did go wrong. Annoying but it's part of the sport, let's hope it was an outlier.

If Miami is going to hit everything we’ll have a bad time.

It will be interesting to see if someone his size can hold up over time. He needs to bulk up a bit, just like Holmgren, but his frame is sturdier. He moves so incredibly well for someone his size. He’s also not the world’s best shooter despite being willing to shoot a lot, so it’d be interesting how his skillset translates.

The lakers are all done, last night was there night to steal one. They were within 3. Lebron missed an open 3, then later he got stripped by Jamal and Jokic. Lebron is a bad shooter and he should never have shot that shot.

Amazing shotmaking from both teams and obviously the elite talent is REALLY elite, but the Nuggets played some ungodly atrocious defense and the Lakers may have found something with Hachimura on Jokic (that sh*t should get exploited with Gordon setting a screen to free a MPJ corner 3).

Like my man umass said, the game completely flipped after Harden’s elbow action trying to flop for a nonsense call. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.
Aside from the first quarter, the defense was unreal again. Philly was broken in the third and got pretty much no clean looks.

All we need now is Tatum nutmegging a ball between Embiid’s leg for a Horford dunk.

Smart getting a foul called while he damn near got stepped on was DISGUSTING. But the thing that annoys me the most is that Niang wasn’t ejected. There’s absolutely no way, NO WAY you can look at what happened and call double Ts. This game may be rigged after all.

This team was due for a crap game, the issue for me isn't last game. It's the game before to take a 3-1 series edge that they let slip away. The game before is chaos and I don't mind the L, but the first game in the series where they guarded Melton like he was goddamn Westbrook is absolutely inexcusable. There's a difference between drop coverage and flat out NOT GUARDING DUDES.

Honest question. Would a team trade no.1 (Wendy) for Tatum and Brown? This trade doesn’t exist in the NBA, it’s hard to even debate it. But no, no team would do that.

Brown and Tatum taking turns stat padding in the second half, but they sucked ass in this game. This game makes me wish we explore other options at HC for next season and I’ve always been a fan of Budenholzer.
