Giannis seems like a good dude. One of my favorite athletes for sure. He fouls (and doesn't get called for) too much though.

And Joe overthought this one way too much bringing Blake Griffin in and not playing Brogdon enough. Seriously, I usually relax after a game is over, but I’m still angry as hell here lol.

Quite possibly the worst loss I can remember. Just zero excuses.

So...was the Celts D so bad, or the Atl shooters so hot? I watched it in parts, and my thought is both can be true. Boston defense was atrocious. They're absolutely not making past the next round unless they can give a full f*ck.

I blame the NBA for Green, they let him get away with so much it's just crazy. He's a clown and a dirty player. I can't believe there was even a debate about a suspension. People saying Sabonis should have been suspended too are absolutely delusional. Feels like every game there's a play where a Draymond "flailing limb" leads him to ACCIDENTALLY hit someone. It's frustrating because he IS a great defender, but bullshit plays have no place in the sport because it goes unpunished nowadays. Back in the day if he tried that funny business you know someone like Bill Laimbeer would smack him so hard he would be sent back in time and never do that sh*t again. So players won't stop it because they're afraid to retaliate and get punished, so it leaves off the NBA to punish him and stop it. It took him jumping on a man's chest on a national televised game for the NBA to do something.

Disappointed that Draymond only got one game. He should have been suspended for the rest of the post-season, what he did was absolutely inexcusable.

Some outright amazing moments from Horford and Smart at the end, but I’m baffled by how they played the game after they got the lead to 32 in the third. You don’t get to go home early guys, don’t flat out STOP playing. This should have been garbage time with 7 minutes left in the 4th.
Oh well. Some goddamn championship ball in the first half though. Ball movement and defense were awesome. I’m just puzzled they decided to take the second half off.

Bro I know this is probably rich coming from me because I said multiple times that Marcus Smart is my favorite player of all time, but Anthony Davis is an incredibly obnoxious flopper. Watching him operating on offense out of the post is a disgrace because he has zero moves and he's stiff as a plank, that alone would be bad enough but NO my dude has to combine that with an embarrassing display of screaming bloody murder every time he as much as GESTURES towards the hoop. He screams regardless of contact occurring or not.
I'm glad we never traded for him.

Regardless of the end of the season and if the Bruins chip or not, let's all join in to toast the greatest regular season of all time in the NHL. We were here to witness it. What a group and honestly Bergeron needs to be in the Top 5 of greatest Boston athletes ever, Pasta giving Tatum and Devers fits for best current player in the city.

[You're attributing the successes in recent years to Cora and the failures in recent years to the team being bad. Why? Fair question, I didn't mean to sound like the success was entirely due to Cora. I think he played a huge part in what made 2018 and 2021 successful seasons, he's a steady leader. It's really hard to evaluate MLB managers, but Cora has done enough to show he's good for the job. Let me phrase this differently, I don't think he has done anything that demonstrates firing him would make the team better. The roster would still be pedestrian at best. Those are fair points. It's hard to blame the manager if the team is just bad, but how do we grade Cora based on what we've seen the last 2 years? The same way we'd grade the manager of the Orioles. Or the Rockies. Or the Dbacks. We've become an irrelevant franchise with fringe talent that isn't going anywhere. The manager sadly isn't going to make or break the team.

At least for this year the team doesn't seem ready right out of the gate. Because the team is really not good. This is not on Cora, look at his track record. 2018, best Red Sox team ever. 2019 yeah it wasn't a good job there. 2021 he overachieved like crazy. 2022 and this year the talent is simply not good enough. This is a bad team. This is a team that unironically starts Christian Arroyo and Reese McGuire. This is a team with two really unproven players in Casas and Yoshida hitting at key spots. A team that has the walking corpses of Corey Kluber and Chris Sale as its top two pitchers. Ryan Brasier has a spot on the roster and I can probably pitch better than him! You better pray Houck and Whitlock are good, because otherwise you're **** out of luck. Again, there's just too many question marks. I do know that injuries play a part and the team isn't that atrocious, it's just plain bad which is apparently fine enough these days! And hey, maybe I'm overreacting, it's still crazy early. But I DO know it's unfair to pin the blame on Cora. It's honestly revolting to suggest this is on him. If this team sucks again, it's on the people who built this roster.

Cora is a terrific, WS winning manager. The problem is the lack of talent in this team.

Hell of a win. I hope they upgrade over Hauser for the next season so Tatum and Brown can comfortably rest. Good job by Joe with the lineups in this back to back, he rested guys and they could have won both games. Didn’t happen last night, but it did tonight.
Smart, White and Brogdon is such an awesome guard trio.

I'm still on the Mac Train but I DO NOT agree. Can't think of too many situations (sports, life, etc) where going behind the backs of leadership is a good idea. I get it, it's kind of a dick move and an insubordinate way to do it. Then again, MATT PATRICIA AS THE OC. Mac messed up, but so did Bill. They should get together, have a beer and both promise to not do that sh*t again.

Come on now, this all has to do with Mac Jones actions, not the results. Bill isn't pissed about his passing yards or TDs. It's about him not buying in, not acting like a leader and going outside the organization for help. He literally lost part of the lockeroom, who wanted Zappe. If he acted like a professional team first leader none of this is going on. There's a reason Zappe looked so good last year and it has everything to do with him buying in. He didn't go against the coaching. You can not agree and not like the coaching, there's a right and wrong way to handle that. How Mac Jones handled it is why he's dealing with this. The recent reports about him and Hoyer during spring training just make it worse. The coaching was sh*t, why would Mac be supposed to tolerate that? In fact I respect him more for rebelling against Matt Patricia as an OC. That's all on Bill and he should have the humility to admit his coaching hire was atrocious.

IF, and that's a huge IF, IF they are really shopping Mac around and are seriously considering moving on from him, then he got shafted and they could lose out on a really good QB. The coaching around him last season was a circus and he had no shot. Bill is the GOAT and I'm a random nobody, but the Hood should do a mea culpa and say like yeah bro I messed up, I was tripping balls when I said Patricia could run the offense LMAO instead of throwing Mac under the bus like this. Man up to your errors.
Again, IF any of this is true. And I say that with all due respect to Bill, but this would be IMO the biggest mistake he has ever done.

At what point is it that the Sox and Chaim’s pitching program just isn’t working? I'm a bonafide Chaim hater I guess, but even I have to point out that a lot of guys are out. Kutter should never be starting this game.

Sale and Crawford rack up ks with awful results. Weird Not weird at all, they can't overpower anyone. Throw a straight pitch and that's it.

Crawford just doesn't have a good enough fastball. Meh velo + bad movement + meh command up in the zone = rockets all over the park. His offspeed stuff isn't bad though. He should throw just change and curve/slider, f*ck the police.
