Why is Breslow even on the roster any more?

Why is Breslow even on the roster any more? To give us loses like this so half the board will quit whining about winning and the other half to whine about him losing it for us.

Presumably the team does not plan to bring him back next year. Seems like giving someone else an audition now would be more useful. Also I question why Badenhop didn't come out for the 9th. He only threw 9 pitches in the 8th. Then Koji would have been available for the 10th. BTW, I've been a lurker and occasional $$ contributor on this site for years. I particularly like reading contributions from guidas, ericmvan and philsbosoxfan. I've been an avid Sox fan since I was about 8, which was 60 years ago.

Guys the premium is not winning every possible game now. It is looking at various players/pitchers and determining who can help us going forward. A loss is elucidating and helps us not hurts us.

The Red Sox might be more interesting to watch when the roster expands Sept 1 and they bring up guys like Betts, Brentz, Ranaudo, Hembree, etc As the season progresses I find my self watching less of the Red Sox as they are not very good or entertaining, and the announcers are even more annoying.

I hope Buch ends the season on a high note so we can put him on the market to sell high if possible. I have no confidence in this guy. To A stay healthy or B to be consistent. How in the hell could you give him another extension? Even if he got good again.

Does anyone really need to look at Mujica again? It's bad enough I can't unsee most of his performances this year. And I say this as one who thought he was a good pick up in the off season. They'll be eating the remaining $4M on his salary, one way or another.

Mujica had a rough start of the season but has been a tremendously valuable reliever lately and his numbers are still inflated by that poor first month or so. Did he kick your dog or something?

At this rate they may not have a pen, and next year could be the same. Unless you have a duple of pitcher s that can go deep, the pen can get screwed up. If Clay is on, he can, so those that say get ride of him, eat bananas. Kelly may, but we shall see. The rest are still on training wheels.

Fowler is a scumbag he tried to trip Xander. Remy is blind on the call. It's amazing to me how much he lost on his play calling. They just want to be comedians now a days.

Wow, Cespedes was so late on the steal that the sweep tag was too far in front of him.

Offense getting some life. Need some hits from the bottom third of the lineup to steal a win tonight.

Hardest contact I've seen from Bradley in what seems like (and what may literally be) months.
