Thats the type of thing that will rattle the mentally weak Buchholz.

Out of all of the horrible innings so far this year that may be the worst yet...

This feels far too familiar to the "what can go wrong will go wrong" Sox we've seen 2 of the last 3 years.

@ryanhannable: Good call by @mutweei, Hanley Ramirez has had left shoulder trouble before. He had surgery to repair a torn labrum tissue in 2007.

The whole Hanley in Left thing has kind of had 'disaster' waiting to happen written all over it for a while now, hasn't it?

Not to mention how ridiculous it is that, that isn't a catch. It's the correct call. Until the moment you do something else - specifically, reach into the glove to get the ball to throw it - you can drop the ball and it's not a catch. He could have ran 25 steps, run into the wall, and dropped it, and it still wouldn't have been a catch. Say the rule is dumb if you'd like, but that's the rule. That's why, even after making a catch for the third out, you see players toss the ball to another player almost immediately thereafter - it essentially "locks in" the catch.

Seriously Clay Buchholz needs to go away. I'd rather have Daniel Bard pitching at this point.

Sox should see if they can get Dice-K back, looking for that consistency in the rotation.

The team should literally hold open tryouts for the public to find some pitching.
Wouldn't be surprised if they found 5 that could perform as equals to the current 5.

Keep trying to give myself false hope Hanley will end up being okay. What's the best case it could be on a play like that?

lol I took Buchholz in one of my Draft Kings line ups thinking he was due for one of his good starts. Probably a bad call...

I picked the wrong game to go to.... If the AAA rotation and the MLB rotation were switched, it would be an improvement.

I always try to be positive and look,at the glass as half full but this season is getting tough to put in a good light. Very few positives. Bad pitching basically nightly from starters. Bullpen mostly a mess and hitters that ground out weekly most of the time. Incredible. They are what they are now as the sample size increases... they are a sub 500 team and just bad.
