I must be hallucinating cause I could swear I'm seeing Chris Young starting against a righty again.

Another crazy hard-hit ball from Hanley that (should be) a single in Fenway.

Nice job walking Jace Peterson after bring up 0-2. Also, Travis Shaw playing third will bite us in the *** many times this year. He simply doesn't have the mobility of a major league third basemen. I Can't wait for Pablo to get back.

Clay's favorite past time is giving up runs immediately after the offense scores

Trade Buccholz for anything resembling value. The whole team energy seems off when he's pitching.

Clay's favorite past time is giving up runs immediately after the offense scores Porcello was elite at that last April. Never saw anything like it.

Young pops up every time I watch him hit Even his hits are pop ups. 2 of the doubles he has are bloopers badly misplayed.

At least Buch is only at 74 pitches through 5.

At least Buch is only at 74 pitches through 5. Dude's throwing cheese right now, but on the bright side Porcello was as well in his first start and then he figured out and started pitching much better. So hey there's at least hope for the future.

Sox are 12-5 when someone other then Buchholz starts. If i had any trust in Owens i would say its almost time to send Clay to the DL.

DOB sounds a little like Doris Burke. His inflection is similar.

I just tuned into this game. No surprise at the score. Earlier this afternoon, I was thinking that if the Sox were to lose any games against the Braves, it would definitely be the one that Buchholz starts. How long of a leash will he have? In 2011, Lackey pitched all year to 6.41 ERA because the Sox had no better options. This year, they do.

I Can't wait for Pablo to get back. Fair enough, and I hope that Hanley moves back to left field, Pedro Ciriaco comes back to play CF, and Daniel Bard comes back to be a starting pitcher. Sorry for the sarcasm I just don't miss fat ichiro at all, I think Shaw is much better. On a side note, its really too bad how Bards career has gone. Can't say for sure, but it looks like trying to start broke him. I miss him when he was a dominant reliever.

Stay back and drive the ball, Bogaerts. Please. They gotta bring this kids lower half back into his swing. What? Bogaerts is fine. You realize he was the #29 position player in the MLB in fWAR this season entering tonight, right? And he's still 23? I enjoy home runs and power too, but I would rather see him having success up there with a balanced approach than swinging out of his shoes. I don't put much stock into league-awards based on strange voting, but even still, the guy won the AL Silver Slugger at his position last year at 22 years old.

Of course I realize all of those things, but with his current swing he's not going to tap into the raw power he has.
