Good news is Eduardo hasn't thrown to many innings/pitches this year.
But I still hope they cap him at like 125ish pitches. Don't want him getting hurt.

I guess ERod, at 100 pitches, could come out to start the 8th, but I'd rather take him out. The problem is, with Wright such a question mark and Buchholz so unpredictable, compounded by his recent usage, we've GOT to have a strong ERod down the stretch. You can't try to let him have a chance at something special, overtax his arm, and burn him out or have any risk of injury.

The win is more important, isn't it? Always, I don't agree with overworking the pitcher in this scenario either.

This offense Is frustrating. It happens. Sometimes even the best offensive teams get shut down. A's pitchers have kept the ball out of the middle of the plate today.

Yes, If Farrell is paying attention there should be somebody warming

Quick outs are certainly welcome.

Helps when the A's only make him throw 3 pitches to get the first 2 outs.

107 pitches, OMG this is very realistic and if the bats don't score him a run here I'm going to flip.
Edit: Oh well

Stinks to lose a no hitter on an infield single.

Another reason I hate replay.

Glad that's over. Great outing by Eddie.
Would have been fun to see a no hitter, but I'd rather our pitchers be healthy.

At least they didn't try to break it up with a crap bunt.

Good game. Now rest your pretty little arm.

Kinda sucks that if he hadn't lost the ball, he would have put himself in good position with a quick 8th. Tied game though so it's probably for the best.
Now lets score a run(s) for Kimbrel.

Just goes to show -- first batter up, 4th time through the lineup, and Semien crushes it for ..... an IF single.
Dagnub it -- should have pulled ERod after the 27th batter.

Frustrating sequencing day for the offense. Also a couple balls that were smashed, just right at defenders.

Kimbrel's gonna blow this now, isn't he?

Kimbrel's gonna blow this now, isn't he? I have a bad feeling that it's gonna be some throwing error or wild pitch that loses it.

Kimbrel's gonna blow this now, isn't he? Wouldn't be surprised -- it isn't EXACTLY, PRECISELY the role for which he is ordained by God.
