I feel both moves to the bullpen by Maddon were extreme overreactions.

There has been one member of this website who consistantly has said that Joe Maddon won't win a world series. I can't remember who that is, but I think he is active tonight, and his moniker ryhmes with Habanero. It is gonna take a miracle. I would say he might have a point right about now.

Besides being poetic justice, Chapman having a dead arm is going to make it a lot harder for him to beat women. Screw you Chapman and may we never have to deal with anyone suggesting we bring this poor excuse of a human being to the Red Sox.

Guys. I agree it was very stupid..but he was still throwing gas (over 100), and he needed one out. Have to give some credit to the hitters on Cleveland. They were on his fastball and they deserve more credit than the mismanagement.

I feel both moves to the bullpen by Maddon were extreme overreactions. Maddon has been managing his bullpen like a fan would. Putting huge work on your best rp /cp and hope for the best. It's not been his typical overmanaging...going with Chapman yesterday was a brutal mistake. And it has nothing to do with hindsight, zero. Farrell would be run out of town if he did that in the same spot

If the Cubs lose this, it's 100% on Maddon. Heck, even if they win he should be fired anyway. It's like he saw Francona being complimented for his use of Miller and thought "yeah I want some of that limelight too".

They were on his fastball and they deserve more credit than the mismanagement. He needed 4 outs. And he was throwing 100 by sacrificing location. The hitters that were too good for him were Rajai Davis and Brandon Guyer, for goodness sake.

What a great series. It's been nothing if not exciting. Not 2004 ALCS exciting, but about as close as it's gotten in years. Good for baseball.

Oh my god he really just called for the squeeze there with two strikes and the go-ahead run on 3rd base and only one out.

I absolutely will not be convinced that Workman hitting was a worse managerial decision than that. Ever. Madden is a lunatic.

Chapmans pitching because they need him to. This board is laughably reactionary.

Chapmans pitching because they need him to. This board is laughably reactionary. Chapman is pitching because Maddon is a moron that overworked him last night and got panicky and removed Hendricks and Lester earlier than he needed to.

Chapmans pitching because they need him to. This board is laughably reactionary. You should probably check the numbers on some of the other RPs Maddon thinks a 60% Chapman is way better than.
