Come on Farrell, he's gassed. Deal with it.

As good a time as any to not have Drew Pomeranz in the game.

Whatever. the guy is our fifth starter. Could be worse. I am done expecting too much from the guy.

Iiiiiiiinevitable, at least there weren't runners on. Now get him out of the game.

Farrell is actually trying to get him the win at the expense of potentially maximizing the opportunity to win the game.

I mean this is the Yankees. They do not swing at anything and every single borderline pitch goes in their favor. Public service announcement to Red Sox pitchers: Throw the first two pitches right down the middle. They do not ever swing.

Pomeranz might be the least effective starter i can recall.

Has to be his last hitter.

I can believe he's leaving him in against potentially their best, and most powerful hitter (at this point in the season).

Farrell is so ridiculous.

at least he can't complain that Farrell pulled him too early this time. He had every chance to be the pitcher of record.

Ugh. He has a 117 pitches. If this was the sixth inning, would he still be in there?

I hate watching him pitch so much. Except for the last two games where you did not make a single post.

Just incredible. The manager managing a division game in June to a BS stat and puting an oft-injured pitcher's arm at risk. If it wasn't for swearing I'd be speechless right now.

OMG. I thought he was gonna take him out. And drew strikes him out. I don't like it, but it was gutsy by JF and Pom Poms.

Yet another 402 foot out for JBJ. Someday, the ball will start bouncing his way.

Even if he doesn't go on the DL as a result of this, who wants to bet he'll be ineffective in his next N starts (N TBD) because of the wear and tear of this game. Especially since it's a Yankee game, where it always seems that the strain, physical and mental, is more than for other games.
