Some tough pitching matchups. Of course, the Mariners didn't handle the MFY. Happy Dever's Day. What is his spot in the lineup.

Current Seattle resident here, so this is my annual Sox series. Of course I pick Mon and Wed to attend so I'm likely going to miss Devers debut on Tues. Fingers crossed he plays Wed. I'll represent proudly and loudly tonight.

Can Farrell stop treating Benintendi like a strict platoon? He has not sucked too much against LHPs and is easily better than Holt in all facets regardless of pitcher handedness

Game 1 looks really tough. Paxton is a machine. At least games 2 and 3 look very good in the Sox' favor.
I don't know how they yankmees managed to miss Paxton and then the Sox face him immediately after they leave town.

Seeing Lenny DiNardo with grey hair on the pregame show has me messed up. Feels like not that long ago he was just a kid trying to stay on the roster.

Ughh more Timlin. At least he won't say anything slightly negative to set off our sensitive players.

Wow Paxton, the Sox need a prayer in this game.

Hey if someone could give me a 5-10 minute warning for the Devers AB please just make a post so I can pull up a stream. Would be much appreciated! My MLB at bat app isn't loading here on vacation but this site is.

Hope nobody criticizes E-Rod's performance or else David Price will have something to say. How about he's pitching less better than he always pitches? Too harsh?
Seriously it's not surprising that E-Rod is struggling again. Whenever he messes up that knee it takes awhile for him to pitch like he's capable of so that means until then every 5th day will be messy.
So if he's not going to pitch that good today, the offense might as use today as another vacation day.

This doesn't look too good. The bullpen is going to get a workout tonight.

E-Rod needs to just go ahead and get that surgery so he can be ready for next year.

Taylor first up? Can't see burning Barnes or Hembree...then again, maybe it will be Fister time!

Coming into this game Sox were 9W 10L sincr July 1. Their lead is not big enough to coast much longer.
