Still no Brentz. These guys not giving the team every chance to succeed. Nick Cafardo @nickcafardo 6m6 minutes ago Dave Dombrowski said IL HR champ Bryce Brentz willl not get callup from Pawtucket. Brentz hit 31 HR but no 40-man roster spot available. Doesn't look like Brentz is part of the plan.

And even if they do, who cares?

Wow. Look at that lineup. Does Farrell know we are in a playoff race?

Live up in the zone and die up in the zone.
And that was a hanging cookie.

When they have about 18 relief pitchers of equal quality?

Lenny's calling card is "reset button". Used it a few times already.
Gomes - "sniff test" and his favorite is Holt "swiss army knife"
Timlin is the whispering color dude
Salty - not sure?

Rick Porcello can't go one outing without giving up a homerun. And naturally it's a 3 run blast. If the Sox don't swing the bats and put runs up on that scoreboard the division race is going to get even tighter.

I'd seriously give mookie a whole series off. Because if we make the playoffs we are not going far with mookie and X hitting like bench players.
This offense struggles enough already. With them hitting like shit this is like a lineup with 3+ pitchers in it.

Loving both the Sam Travis hit...and the Joey Batts "whoops!"
Would love nothing better than for Travis to catch fire.
