Nothing like having plenty of options and still playing Marrero

Wow - Mookie and Xander's bats are not at all familiar with hitting anything hard, on a line.

Well, the Jays were trying ther best to give the Sox some runs, and good thing for Nunez, is right.

Once again. I think it's time to bench mookie (and X) for a bit.

I was still posting it the Yankee thread. I guess I just haven't moved on just yet. Is Marrero really the only option?

Bench him in favor of Chris Young or Brock Holt so we can complain about why they're playing?

If having time off allows mookie to fix what ever is screwing him up I don't care if Chris young of nick punto takes his place. Because mookie is hitting like a bench player right now. And if he hits like this in the playoffs we will be lucky to win one game in the post season.

Cant afford to be playing from behind this series. We need some easy wins.

They fixed Porcello in 2015 when he was pitching exactly the way he is now. Why can't they do it again? Stop throwing so many 4 seam fastballs. Stop throwing every pitch up in the zone. It's clearly a square peg/round hole situation because the catcher is calling everything up.

Wow - per Alex Speier - Hanley has not a single Sac Fly this year?
Interesting discussion - team's trouble against lefties, the mystery that is Hanley.

If "benching" mookie can get him fixed for the playoffs I'm all for it. Because with mookie and X hitting like like pitchers we won't win one game in the postseason

Xander is still grounding out to SS weakly. It's gotta be in his approach. What's Chili Davis doing?
