Please play baseball well. Thoughts also with the Tampa players and families. Tough situation.

We did have 2nd and 3rd with nobody out, so I doubt that we would have come empty handed otherwise, especially with Moreland getting a hit after. Not saying that we'd get all 3, but I wouldn't say that we were lucky to get all 3 runs.

Pomeranz pitching is so easy on the eyes. I love watching him pitch.

Pomeranz is being efficient. 39 pitches through three innings. Might have enough to go 7 tonight.

At least the constant strikeout/walk/strikeout is driving up the pitch count.

Eck. now if i was a player listening to that diatribe, I might get a bit mad. Eck isn't pitching, but CV is catching. Even if he is right, the players play the game.

Don't want to jinx it, but a certain pitcher has a no-no through 4 innings.

Dickerson gave up on that one.
Souza slammed his knee hard against the wall.
Swihart redux injury. Fenway's walls are unforgiving.

Extremely long inning here. Hopefully it doesn't affect Pomeranz too much, but he does have leeway to make mistakes now.
