Porcello? Don't get that move by Cora.

I'm ok with Porcello facing Butera but I really don't want him to face the top of the order again. I'm also not sure how relievers feel about coming into an inning after the starter faced the first batter, or just coming into the inning at the beginning.

Jesus Cora. That move made no sense to bring him back out here.

This is like Farrell-treatment of Porcello. C'mon man.
He wouldn't have even started the 7th if I were making decisions.

Indefensible. It would be a shame if it costs the Sox a game they had practically won.

Cora with a Farrell decision to actually let Porcello back out there

I just don't get what Cora is trying to do by keeping him in here, regardless of results.

Probably because of whatever happened to Kelly yesterday. Im guessing we see Barnes and Kimbrel next, even though its a 4 run lead.

For anyone wondering, the record for consecutive # of times on base is 17 so Benny has quite a way to go.

I just want to point out that I had the game off while the Red Sox were scoring in the 7th, and turned the game on just before Leon hit into the double play. And then kept it on as Porcello put the first two batters on and then shut it off.
Needless to say I'm not watching the rest of the game.

Cuevas for 2 innings to close it out, or Cuevas for 1 and if he gets through unscathed, the new guy in the 9th.

I just noticed the date on it: 17 – Piggy Ward, Baltimore Orioles/Cincinnati Reds – June 16 through June 19, 1893 (8 hits, 8 walks, 1 hit-by-pitch) (I wonder if he was traded in the middle of the streak?)

Nunez did this last GIDP just for you! That's my boy. Dave O'Brien was just talking about how Nunez has had a good day. His WPA for the game is -.011.
