They're meant to be a lot less formal than other threads on the forum, so to moderate them the same way would be silly. However, we do ask posters to maintain a certain level of decorum in these threads, and we plan on moderating the Gameday threads a little more actively this season. In particular, we ask that posters refrain from being overly repetitive with their posts (if you've made your point, let it go), refrain from monopolizing the discussion (if you are making more than a couple posts in a row, you probably need to slow down a little bit), and of course, follow the Ground Rules ( link). The point is to make these threads worth participating in and fun for all posters, from our long-time fixtures to people just signing up today. -The Management

We get to be blessed with the Eduardo Nunez show at 3B tonight. I have to make sure I’m not around any rat poison every time I check roto lineups just in case I see his name and want to chug it all

Nunez isn’t bad at 3B and has been hitting a bit lately, and is likely a better fit there than Brockstar or Marco, but the Sox turnaround requires Devers.

Why is Nunez a better fit than Hernandez at 3b? Or 2b when Cora has been placing him there? I'd take Hernandez's defense, and at this point I'd take his offense as well.

Mmmm crunchy, and completely reduces my risk of stroke when Nunez does something awful.

Nunez is probably better a better 3B if we are being fair and equal. That's probably the only position he can play adequately. Marco was a terrible third baseman before the injuries. Marco is more of a second base only kind of guy. He's shaky everywhere else. He makes a lot of mistakes on defense too, but a lot of it is covered up when you put him at second base.

The last game Marco appeared in was Jun 16th when he hit the 9th inning HR. Strange reward system.

Yeah that first inning by Sale was worst case scenario-
-37 pitches and gave up 2 runs. -Your bullpen has still been overworked lately and is still tired -Brian Johnson is pitching tomorrow and can probably go 4 innings at most -Sale can probably go 5, 6 innings at most if he finds himself here

We are facing Cy Young yet again. Mookie is looking mighty mortal.
For all of Chavis' issues with Is, he and Mookie have the same BA. Shocking.

On a day that silver linings may be in short supply, Colten Brewer is turning into somebody worth keeping on the roster. I badly wanted him in AAA three weeks ago.

Brock Holt really deserves to be the every day 2B. Yes, he does. However, he tends to decline when he plays every day. Dunno why that is.
