Me not liking it matters a lot more than whether it gets outs.

I know he's had a lot of flukey hits, but I don't want to see him lose his starting spot when Drew comes back.
It's too bad neither of them can play 3rd or 1st.

Middlebrooks seems to have found his rake... ...and he lent it out to Iglesias.

Iglesias has been hitting well, but a lot of his hits have been infield hits or doubles down the left field line. He's not driving a lot of balls in the air. That said, he's still been consistently making solid, hard contact (albeit resulting in mostly balls hit on the ground) and has used his speed to leg out bunt and infield hits, which are both good signs and likely sustainable.

Hopefully Iggy keeps this up when he gets sent back down.
Because there are two outcomes....he becomes a key piece to the Red Sox future or his trade value soars and we get something good for him.

I'm not watching the telecast, but its funny looking at gameday and seeing 1 strike outside the strike zone right after two balls inside the strike zone

Wasn't this offense supposed to be terrible without Ortiz?

Wasn't this offense supposed to be terrible without Ortiz? Yes, when facing crappy left handed pitching. See Pettite and Happ.

An object lesson. Talk about how the Sox showed little power in spring training was a bit premature.. I see Napoli has joined the party.
