They're meant to be a lot less formal than other threads on the forum, so to moderate them the same way would be silly. However, we do ask posters to maintain a certain level of decorum in these threads, and we plan on moderating the Gameday threads a little more actively this season. In particular, we ask that posters refrain from being overly repetitive with their posts (if you've made your point, let it go), refrain from monopolizing the discussion (if you are making more than a couple posts in a row, you probably need to slow down a little bit), and of course, follow the Ground Rules ( link). The point is to make these threads worth participating in and fun for all posters, from our long-time fixtures to people just signing up today. -The Management

This is an interesting stretch. The new back end of out rotation against what should be an improved Tigers team. I’m looking forward to this.

I'm particularly looking forward to Nate v. E-Rod.
I wouldn't be shocked at all if AC has a half dozen different tells on E-Rod.

Not shocked at all, either, if X, Raffy, BD, Kiké and Dugo carry a bit of an every at bat chip on their shoulders after ERod commented publically about going to a team with good defense behind him. Looking forward to seeing Hill and Wacha, but more so for Eo vs ERod. Fun times.

Dalbec probably got a lot of confidence last night so naturally he’s sitting for a AAAA player today.

Kikè Devers Bogaerts JD Verdugo Vazquez Shaw Arauz Bradley 6-9 is major woof JBJ is fine a pinch hitter or defensive replacement. But if he’s starting against every RHP this season, that is going to be a gaping hole in the lineup.

lol the price must be pretty low if Cleveland and "Club Option" Chaim are what's left of Conforto's market. Maybe he misses a lot of time and ends up with the James Paxton deal (a smart contract idea that Boras came up with)
I have no idea what the deal is with Shaw and Dalbec. I thought the idea was you sit Dalbec against hard throwing righties, but he just started against the two hardest throwing righties in the league.

Gotta wonder how bad confortos shoulder injury he suffered around January actually is. He's probably getting pretty close to the point where he either has to sign soon so he can play enough games to make losing the pick worthwhile or just waiting until after the draft so the pick compensation isn't holding him back.

Reverse jinx mildly effective
5 innings 3 runs out of him would be terrific every time out
