JBJ turns 1st and 3rd, one out into an inning ending DP. I wonder how many OPS points that's worth...

Shaw is toast. Franchy now and bide time with him or roll with Casas. Both are a better LH option
Edit - Crow tastes awesome

As frusterating and streaky as Dalbach and JBJ are, I have no desire to see Franchy in Red Sox MLB game again. JMO of course.

Dalbec's hot streak was 110 PAs, from Aug 11 to Sep 18, 2021 BOS. [[.337 .427 .842 1.269]] Apr 2 to Aug 10, 2021 .218 .264 .391 .656 Sep 19 to Oct 3, 2021 .143 .172 .393 .565 2021 Post-season: 0 for 12, 5 ks 2022: .175 .250 .275 .525 Not a better hitter than Story. Dalbec's career so far has been eerily like that of Will Middlebrooks, even though Dalbec has both more walks and more Ks. Dalbec in 2020: .263 .359 .600 .959 in 92 PA Will Middlebrooks in 2012 as a rookie: .288 .325 .509 .835 in 286 PA (one of my friends called him a "beast" after seeing him in person) Apr 1 to Aug 11, 2013 .200 .238.391 .628 Aug 13 to Sep 18, 2013 .317 .381.535.915 (probably "one of the best hitters in baseball" over that month, and was NOT being platooned) Sep 19 to Sep 29, 2013 .135 .135 .324.459 2013 post-season .160 .250.240 .490 (only 2 PA in the World Series) 2014-2017 .198.246.310.556 I know these are just crude numbers, but the pattern seems pretty scary.

Kluber should be ashamed of himself trying to get hitters out with this slop in the year 2022

I was very “meh” on Wacha, but I credit the pro-Wacha folks. I know it is super early, but he looks pretty good.
And in other news…. back up the truck for Raffy.

Didn't know that about the 2 pitchers but unless shaw does a complete 180 he doesn't belong anywhere near a major league roster so hopefully they decide to go a different direction soon enough either way.

The stupid fools who think it’s a good idea to bring a cowbell to an indoor baseball game are beyond me. How do they not get beat up by other fans who get annoyed with them?
