God I'm going to hate football once Brady retires.

It's amazing the catches that Gordon can make when he's not on drugs.

Glad the Patriots are playing well, but there is a huge talent issue in the NFL this year. Not even the Steelers with a old Rothlesburger can even look decent against a great team like the Patriots.

LOLJETS I can hear Goodell's blood boiling from here. Jamie Collins is better than ever. Goodell probably could care less about the success or failures of the Jets or the Patriots at this point.

Bradford brings up the White Sox as a fit for JDM, if he opts out. I say there's a 50/50 chance he does opt out. He should get the qualifying offer if he does opt out.

Time to tank for more draft money. They've been doing it for a while. Hey the 2019 Sox are doing something likeable for a change and losing when they need to. They can get as high as the 15th pick, if they keep up this pace.

Are all infielders with athleticism and speed shortstops? More to it than that. No, but you'd think it'd translate in the outfield. Mookie's speed for example covers for any inexperience in CF that he doesn't have out there.

If you want to see when I said Marco Hernandez isn't a good defensive player, look at that inning.

Thinking of comps, Wilson sort of reminds me of a young Mike Cameron, although he’s unlikely to be as good...peak Cameron was a very, very good player...basically a 4-5 fWAR guy for almost 10 years when healthy. But the skill set seems reminiscent to me. If Wilson could pull a Dalbec and cut his K rate from low-30s% to mid-20s, you’re talking a starting-caliber CF as long as that walk rate stays over 10%, and the IsoP around .200. He's not a CF from what I've seen and heard from scouts. Even with his athleticism and speed? That's shocking, tbh.

Why can't you just let others have their opinions? I did. I didn't critisize his opinion.

I don't understand why people keep trying to trade away Red Sox outfielders when the Red Sox have a severe lack of outfielders past the first three guys. That's why they're trying him in the OF. Trading away Benintendi off a down year in order to install an untested outfielder who strikes out about 35% of the time seems... unwise. If you look at the "super teams" right now, they're all about depth. That's what the value of Chavis is, or should be, to this organization, a guy who gives you a reasonable option at a bunch of positions, but isn't penciled in for any of them. At this point, Chavis should not be relied on for a starting role at any position. He’s best utilized as a utility player that can step up if needed. If he goes into next season as a starter then the new GM is off to a bad start. If Chavis' best role is a utility sub, then the Sox should shop him around. They don't know how it's going to look in the outfield, and relying on him to give you value that way is risky. Nevermind the fact that he isn't durable to begin with.

The Sox are losing a lot of bodies in that front office. This is probably what Heyman was referring to in his tweet earlier.

That's fair. It's all about opinion, which some won't let you have around here. Either the epic collapse makes for a terrible season, in which case 2011 is definitely worse than 2019, or season-long futility and underperformance make for a worse season, in which case 2014 and 2015 were worse. (2012 too, though that was less of an underperformance than just a shitshow from the beginning.) There's no logically consistent way to regard 2019 as the worst Sox season unless, as I mentioned elsewhere, you have the memory of a goldfish. The talent of the 2014 and 2015 teams were way worse. I can refute the reasons why again. Seriously, that 2015 rotation? This season was way worse in terms of letdown, both from management and the players.

The Sox are about to shut down Darwinzon and Josh Taylor once this series is over also. Their seasons will be done. Hembree will be activated in the next season series against Texas.

Atlanta has even more reasons to trade for Betts this off-season, and this is one of them. The close proximity to his home in Tennessee gives them some hope to signing a extension too. He's probably the best fit for them in CF and Atlanta has a lot to give the Sox in return.
Also, for the nay sayers on Betts can't fetch much. Yeah, that isn't what's being put out there.

Given his contract, we can void the signing bonus. The rape stuff being before likely wasn't enough, but this idiot sends texts to the second accuser this week. Like bam, thank you very much no money for you! That certainly counts as hurting the Patriots image while a Patriot. As talented as he is, we didn't need his crap on this already special team. The Patriots image was dead one Spygate, defaltegate, 3 murders, and one nail salon hooker ago lmao (the murders being seperate from my laughter). At this point, I just keep looking forward to rubbing the rest of the NFL's noses in it.

It's really too bad from a pure entertainment standpoint, Tom Brady and Antonio Brown would have been special. He might be one of the most talented to play with Brady, next to Moss. Antonio Brown is a HOF talent with a mischievous 17 year old brain.
