Epitome of addition by subtraction. Also epitome of loafing to 1st.

The Guardians just scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 10th to walk off the Yankees Verdugo dogged a grounder in the 10th which led to a DP Epitome of addition by subtraction.

Bloom got canned for amongst a few reasons: Not trading Sale last year, add signing Kenley and not trading him. Never liked the signing. I wouldn't trust him any further than I could throw him, and I couldnt pick him up.

I don't know if this includes tonight, but the Red Sox are tied for 28th in errors with the Yankees. 30th is Oakland. Average error per game: Red Sox/Yankees - 1.00 The Oakland Athletics of Sacremento Vegas - 1.15 Interestingly, on the road the Red Sox were 0.80 whereas at home they're 1.67. They had Story most of the road games

I’ll also say that if they put Hamilton back out there tomorrow as SS, they clearly have no interest in winning the game. It should have been clear in the off-season that they give absolute no f*cks about winning many games. Henry's vision apparently some Tampa Bay meets Atlanta Braves hybrid. So far not working very well.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Why would Raffy hurry back? Besides the fact he hasn't been playing well, he is the one that called out ownership in the spring. I have no doubt he wouldn't have made a bit of difference tonight.

I’ll also say that if they put Hamilton back out there tomorrow as SS, they clearly have no interest in winning the game. Its unfortunate Mayer lost most of last season to injury. Otherwise he might have debuted this season and we would have at least had that to look forward to.

I can’t call this rock bottom, because it looks like so much of what we’ve seen for five years. I’ll call this half decade the nadir of my sports fandom. I’ve never had a team that was so bad, so aimless, and so hard to enjoy. I’ve followed lovable bad teams. But this is a no charisma snooze since 2019. This is the result of 5 years of patch and draft. Not that they would pay for free agents but this is not an attractive destination at the moment. The one guy they signed blew his arm out 30 seconds after he got here.

Even O'Neil slumping. When is the last time Rafaela got a hit?

Would be big if we can get Ref and Grissom back for Sunday since we face a lefty. We absolutely can’t run this lineup out there again So far tonight Angel relievers ERA 9, 11.81, and 9. This lineup made em look like Rivera in his prime.

I turned off to watch a movie at 3-0, 1 error. Now this - 3 errors, only 3 hits. Too early in the season for rock bottom - yes? The cavalry is year away. Look at this lineup: How many players do you think other teams would just love to have? Casas and maybe one or two others? To answer your question I don't think bottom yet.

Tonight this team, no fight, no pulse, getting battered pillar to post by an Angel team that I would bet my life finishes below 500. They even gave up two hits to that dog with fleas Rendon. Too many 4A guys but still embarrassing.

Personally, I can still watch the Sox when playing shoddy defense, or with poor pitching from starters or relievers. I just HATE watching us when we can't hit. I mean HATE with a passion. Would rather watch us lose 10-9 blowing a late lead while making 5 errors than a 1-0 loss with great pitching and perfect D. Yes, the '77 team was one of my favorites Some of my favorite teams were the ones that came up just short. 67, 75, 77, 78.

I can't believe how many of you look at this team and think the solution to the defensive woes is to move Rafaela - as a CFer he's the only truly plus defender they have! No. What I thought was the record following the west coast trip was an illusion and for this team to finish above 500 absolutely everything had to go right. Didn't take long for it all to unravel.

Last two games winnable but you are seeing the difference between a good MLB team and a "bridge" team littered with 4A players.
