Really hope we destroy the Sixers today.

Barring catastrophic injury, this team is going to be extremely good.
Being able to roll out these lineups in crunch time dependent on matchup is ridiculous:
Jrue-White-JB-JT-Horford Jrue-White-JB-JT-Porzingis Jrue-JB-JT-Porzingis-Horford

Bloom is polarizing simply because while he was very good at building the farm and relatively good at working with financial/ownership constraints, his decision making at the MLB level season to season was mediocre to below average.
Personally I think he should have been given one more season but I can also see why this season would be viewed as an indictment. Still, not his fault Sale contract has been an absolute albatross, and he at least avoided the huge Xander contract.
At least he left the system and org in generally good shape. The same can't be said for many folks who get fired for similar weaknesses.

Kinda disappointing summer league so far. Davison is a guy you'd hope takes a big leap, yet kinda of the same guy. Polish center hasn't done much, guy from Hungary who looked great on tape hasn't even played. Scrubb has been good at scoring, yet where are the rebounds, assists, etc. Former Jazz center had a good night, after a not good game. I think this is fair overall, but to me it looks like we stole a first round talent in Walsh in the 2nd round (plus extra picks trading down). Even if that's all we get, it's a win IMO

I like Jordan Walsh. Think he'll be a solid Dorian Finney-Smith/Shane Battier type with Iguodala ultimate upside case. Nice glue guy snag in the 2nd round.

I'm outraged at the Red Sox not taking Shaw

If the Heat really get DAMIAN LILLARD for Herro+scraps and picks...ima be real mad.
Tbh I hope we trade Jaylen, Malcolm, and all the picks for him. Won't happen but I can dream.

This team is the definition of mediocre sadly
Maybe in a year when the AL East wasn't so stacked we would be 2nd or so in our division but alas
At least our farm is better

Amen is a jump shot away from being a top 5 player in the league. Great pick for Houston. I would have taken Amen over Miller. Hornets are such a joke franchise. I hope we find a way to get Dame or Scoot out of the remains of the fiasco.

I love Marcus Smart. But much of the Marcus Smart love from fans is attributable to him as a person and hard worker vs being a consistently very good basketball player. Porzingis is much better. Add two firsts and keep the Brogdon contract so you can still make yet ANOTHER splash and this trade is a home run. We do need playmaking now.
Not to mention I think White will step into the Smart role and be just as good if not better.
Current rotation assuming Grant is a definite goner: White Brown Tatum Timelord Porzingis Brogdon Horford Hauser Pritchard
With flexibility to trade Brogdon and a haul of picks, or Jaylen if you want to get crazy and think he's not the guy to have next to Tatum.
Team got better for next season today and added assets. W. Now add in the fact the Golden State pick has potential to be VERY GOOD (just top 4 protected)...
Only way this trade blows up is if Porzingis retears his ACL. Hope not.

I don’t blame them too much for this game. Their best player gets injured the first play of the game, they miss a bunch of threes while their opponent gets hot, that happens sometimes. The problem is they left themselves no margin for error with games one through three. Agreed. Nothing you can do about a Tatum freak injury. Add in the Brogdon and White injuries and its curtains. Just stinks.

Well, this is depressing, but what can you really do about the Tatum freak injury? Just sad to see him grimacing out there.
Playing Brogdon in this game was negligence.
We'll run it back but Horford will be 37.

Terrible shooting with 0-10 from 3, Tatum injured, Brogdon playing clearly hurt and trash, and a garbage lineup by Joe
Literal nightmare start yet only down 7. Still the worst possible start.
Please, please just sit Brogdon. There's a reason we got better when he sit after his injury.

Personally don't see how the Heat can win G7 now. Mentally they were in the finals. Now they aren't and have to go BACK to Boston to play G7. Heat shot way better than us from 3 (46.7% to 20%!!!) and still lost.
Celtics need to come out ravenous. I think they've got this as long as the intensity is there.

Very good half. Need to keep the intensity at 1 million 2nd half because you know the Heat will not give up.

I generally REALLY like the intensity but I don't like how the Heat are hanging around especially with our unsustainable 3 point shooting. Need to get some stops.

Well, report came out that Brogdon has been playing with a torn elbow tendon. Wouldn't be surprised if JB is injured also.

Great win. Win at home in G5 and then anything can happen. More Grant, less Brogdon this series.

Better lineup, better results.
Need to give it everything they have, then they're back home.

Dreadful lineup and settling for 3s. Awful start. Just disgusting from the players and coach.

Generally like the play in 3rd quarter. It would be nice if Jaylen Brown gave them literally ANYTHING.

I hate this team. They deserve to be swept.
And god, Jaylen is about to get the Beal albatross contract...that's terrifying. Trade him.

This team came into the game more focused on complaining to the refs than competing. Microcosm of their story.
