This is what happens when you can't get the bottom of the order out.

Big, big called strike three there (on a borderline pitch).

Same exact pitch he took for strike three in the 4th.

Lackey at 88 pitches, I assume he'll start the 6th facing 6-7-8, all righties

This offense is a juggernaut. The only pitcher in the playoffs that I'm genuinely afraid of is Kershaw. They can and will score runs off anyone else.

The hitter's approach against Price has been great. Complete 180 on how most of them hit. Instead of working the count they are swinging at the first fastball over the plate. Excellent.

Oh, **** these TBS announcers. They explicitly mention the neighborhood play twice but then totally ignore it and say Drew was off the bag.

ugh - that was just a boneheaded inning by the Sox batters. I think it was more of a good pitcher adjusting to what was being done to him. Great turn of the DP. Close this one out boys. 6 runs against Price should be enough.

Ryu is one LH junk thrower really am in no hurry for hackers like Salty, Napoli and Middlebrooks to see. Add to that Farrell would insist on leaving Drew in the lineup and that gives LAD a huge advantage vs him. I'd rather face Grienke than Ryu, who gives lefties fits.

Hard to believe that Rays haven't figured out by now that you throw Middlebrooks a FB over the plate and he can handle it if it's below his waist and he will chase off speed outside and low, which they have not been doing.

I know anything can happen, and I'm knocking on wood as I say this, but ... I feel very calm with Koji on the mound and a three run lead. I <3 Koji so much.

McGee has reverse splits and, considering the Red Sox already led by 3, I think they prefer Drew's superior defense for the bottom of the 9th.

No pitch hitter for Lobaton? Even Maddon is mailing it in right now.
