Monster home run by Mookie against Zack Greinke gets no response. We're spoiled. I think the server has problems accepting posts if they don't contain some type of complaint about either Farrell, DD, Kimbell or Pomeranz. (Fire Farrell)

Wow, Mookie with 2 hrs. I hope Arizona isn't thinking about plunking him next at bat.

This is an unexpected surprise vs Greinke.

Who needs Big tiket free agents (Encarnacion etc) when your farm system develop superstars? We need more small ticket FA like Ortiz.

And then JBJ almost knocked Pesky Pole down.
What an explosion for the offense.

Today proves that our offense won't die out when Ortiz is gone.

I wish Erod would get this type of offense. What a shot. Nobody is fooled by him.

I think Greinke hasn't had very good luck in this game, giving up 359 foot and 360 foot home runs to go along with a .778 BABIP.
48.60 ERA and a 1.53 xFIP.
His season ERA rose from 3.67 to 4.31

When a pitcher gives up several runs on bloops and grounders, then yeah, it's fair to say that he's probably pitching better than his results. That was not this. These hits were crushed all over the park - or out of it.

I thought Mookie could be a 30/30 guy down the road. He may well do it this year.

You left out the dribbler to the mound and JBJ's grounder to SS which were the only two outs in play.

A lot has been made on the pitching struggles of the past few weeks, but this team really really depends on its offense. If they get hot again, there's absolutely no way they don't steamroll everyone in the AL.

Benintendi and Leon look like they'll be chasing after the .406 mark for rest of the season ... historic bottom of the order.
Also, Tampa up 5-1

And I would agree, if it actually said that. What it says is that he should give up 1.5 runs if he pitches an entire game at that level of performance, which IMO is silly.

Benintendi and Leon reinforcing their two weakest positions has done a lot in terms of strengthening this team. Pushing Holt to the bench also makes it a lot easier to give slumping guys (Xander) a day off.
