Damn - I didn't want to play in the wildcard game this year. Did you get signed by the Yankees or something?

They don't like putting their players in uncomfortable positions. I'm not the one saying this but this is the reason why they don't do it. Ya mean like Chris Young playing RF? I understand it, but it's just stupid as hell. All of our outfielders can play any of the 3 OF positions better than anyone else on the roster and it's not close. Ya I don't understand it either but it's Farrell's logic. I still think Mookie could play second base even after not being there for 3 years if need be.

Anybody have a "Xander has hit [good slash line] since [date]" stat they wanna share? I'll dig one up in a minute, but I did see that his OBP in the leadoff spot is like .390. I think we've found our leadoff hitter until he's more consistent with the power. Especially with his baserunning, which is outstanding.

Fantastic offense tonight. Even Rajai Davis is a hitter tonight.
Xander Bogaerts has done it all already tonight, the clutch 2 out RBI single, the 3-run jack, and some spectacular baserunning.
Hanley hit a bomb tonight too, which was good to see.
I think we'll see a couple of innings from Price sooner or later.
It's tough watching Porcello groove pitches down the middle of the plate. Not exactly crazy about him getting a start in the post-season. I'd hate to be down 2 games to 1 and have to rely on him. Fister has one more great opportunity I would say.

Anybody have a "Xander has hit [good slash line] since [date]" stat they wanna share? Since 9/12 including tonight through 3 plate appearances: .316/.451/.456 Including an 8.4% K rate and 19.7% BB rate Although, Fangraphs doesn't appear to include IBBs in walk rates, which I don't believe should be true. It would be 16.9% without them.

Why wasn't Price warming to start this inning? He shouldn't be coming in unless it's a clean inning.
