Don't play uptempo against the Warriors.

Man if we can get this superstar version of Gordon Hayward somewhat frequently in the post-season.
Perhaps more importantly, both Brown and Hayward are playing more minutes than Morris tonight. Although Hayward is obviously the best Celtics player on the floor, Brown has been massive as well.

With his team down by 30, Cousins is trying to pick a fight after he clearly led with the elbow on another beautiful play by Baynes. You cannot make this sh*t up lol.

3 am here but I was watching garbage time, I had to witness the full glory of the Rozier to Yabusele lob. Fantastic game, as a Celtics homer I badly needed this one and I kind of anticipated something like this could happen. Golden State hasn't been too hot lately and the Celtics had some really, really atrocious low points, but they did play some good stretches against the Bucks, Rockets and Blazers. I didn't see a hardcore blowout coming, it feels great.
Brown, Hayward and Tatum combined for 65 points. That's the picture I had in my head going into the season. 3 really versatile and long wings bookended by Irving and Horford. That's one hard team to stop.

I just don’t think we can expect it this year, but I would love to be wrong.

Hayward really needs to be the defacto point guard on this team. Outside of Horford, he’s the best distributor on the Celtics, and they need him to be more ball dominant. If Kyrie Irving is getting the ball one on one with 10 seconds left on the shot clock, he’s one of the 5 greatest players on earth. If he’s getting the ball with a full shot clock he’s average. He’ll have his share of 27 foot makes and pretty pick and roll plays, but he’ll also toss the ball into the baseline and miss contested 3’s with 17 seconds left on the shot clock. Hayward and Horford initiating offense for Kyrie, Tatum, and Brown is the ideal scenario for this team come playoffs.

Watching the box score...looks like Morris is just chucking it up.

Fantastic one to get it at the back end of a back to back. Great game by Tatum and Hayward with the winning shot. Just awesome.

Per Yahoo, Lebron will be on a minutes restriction from here on out and will not play in back-to-back games.

Still believe the C's will end up the third seed. Sixers struggling a bit without JE and 2 head to heads with Indiana should take care of them. Time for the C's to go on a run, Yes I am wearing some tinted glasses.

Anyone watching basketball tonight? The 76ers are absolute frauds and dear God the Warriors are so unfair. They come out of the gate and smoke the Nuggets who get back on the game with super human effort and then all of the sudden it's a near 20 point lead again for the Warriors on like 500 3s in a row.

Irving doesn't need to act like that towards Smart after that play. Like calm down enjoy the game. Your up 15, no need for that crap. Berkley might be right about Irving.

While I also thought that was a bit aggressive, Smart lost focus on that play so it was at least somewhat deserved and he didn't seem bothered by it celebrating with Irving when he got an and 1. Weird game tonight. It certainly felt like a game where one team was miles ahead better than the other but they were just cruising nice and easy to a win. This has been such a wonky season that I also kept feeling like they were once again playing down to the competition. The Lakers are such an unbelievable mess it also felt like I was watching a prolonged mercy killing session.

Maybe this is small sample size, but doesn't it seem like that every time Irving scores 30+ points, Tatum almost disappears?

Maybe this is small sample size, but doesn't it seem like that every time Irving scores 30+ points, Tatum almost disappears? If there is any correlation it wasn't on show last night. Tatum (and Brown) got plenty of looks but just missed them. The thing about this team is that ideally they have so much depth they can withstand some guys being off. Hayward especially has looked so encouraging on this California trip, he was quietly VERY good again last night.

I don't know, Irving was great last night scoring. A true pleasure to watch, but you literally saw everything else also. Him snapping on Smart for a simple mistake, like Irving never makes them. Him clapping his hands and throwing them up demanding the ball when Rozier had it. Him walking up on D late in the game with a lead shortly after going off on Smart. Then the end of game interview, what happened on that plane ride, "I helped Stevens coach these guys". I'm kinda over when it's going good he wants all the credit, when it goes bad it's everyone else crap.
Hayward looked awesome, it just seems he's reluctant to take too many shots, like he's become pass first because of his play most of the year. I kept saying take some shots. Kinda funny most people said March and he does look different. Lets just see if he can keep it going or if he has set backs. That looks like 80 to 90% of the old Hayward.

None of these were issues. I feel like we collectively as a fanbase have placed this "leader" label on Kyrie. Like he's going to be Pedroia/Papi, Bergeron or Brady and it's just not his thing. He's playing well, he's playing reasonably within the offense, the effort on defense is mostly there, he and Brown have even looked like bros or at least pros lately. Let's enjoy it.

Just watching ESPN gamecast, but it looks like the laying of another egg is well under way. Getting outrebounded, turnovers piling up, allowing 60% shooting. Yikes. Game is still young, but looks like they are missing Tatum? Anyone watching and can provide commentary on what's up?

65% shooting as the end of the half approaches...are the Celtics holding up red blankets and doing the matador thing? Are they playing any D whatsoever?
Is Kyrie screaming anyone out yet? (sorry for the snark, but....what the hell!)
