The Kings may be acting "King-Like" again AFTER it no longer helps us. Reports are out that Vlade wants to fire Joerger despite a surprisingly successful season.

This could be a good thing if it means Brown starts, making Irving, Brown, and Rozier the guards. Smart was injured to start last year's playoffs. Grizz win, Mavs lost, three way tie. A coin flip will determine if we get the pick not accounting for the lottery. Most don't agree but I want that pick. It’s only maybe a good thing because the trust in Brad Stevens to play the right rotations is low. You said it yourself, you want them to focus on defense and we just lost our best defensive player. If you buy real plus minus Horford and Baynes impact the games more than Smart does on D. He's our best defender at guard, but Brown isn't chop liver either. Browns downgrade in D is more than made up for his much better offense. If you start Baynes which you really have to do, then you shouldn't be starting Smart. Yea it makes Stevens job easier, which is a good thing. Recent poll he was voted #2 coach players wanted to play for. He's a players coach and that isn't a bad thing! Danny needs to make his job easier next season, because I want my players and other players wanting to play for a coach. Still blows my mind we didn't trade Morris and get under the luxury cap. That has hurt us this year and is going to be huge in the years to come. Like it's crazy easy for us to say sit Morris and Rozier, or sit Hayward. In reality it's not that easy with everything that has happened this year. Nevermind the fact of what Morris and Rozier did last year for Stevens. You gotta love the fact he finally moved Baynes back into the starting rotation. Like I don't worry about Brown on D, he showed what he can do last year in the playoffs. I worry about Irving and if teams will exploit him all playoffs long. He's the weak link if we start Baynes, Horford, Tatum, Brown and Irving.

NBA will do the coin flips today for all the teams tied in the rankings for the draft. All 4 potential Boston picks are part of a tie.

Any idea what time the coin flip happens? I can't remember a time coin flips mean so much to one team. We could likely get the Grizz pick or not, can go from 12 to 14 with the Kings pick which could be huge. Clips pick can be 18th, 19th or 20th. Celtics pick is the only one without a three way tie and is just one pick difference with the Thunder.

As I understand it, it's the last agenda item at the meetings that are going on now. The time was an estimation based on when the meetings adjourn. BTW - O for 2, so far. EDIT - O for 3 Didn't lose the 4th but didn't win it. As of right now, it's the 8th pick (so it belongs to Memphis if status quo.

Memphis being 8 vs 7 isn’t so good either because if one team jumps then we get the pick.

Yes but we do get the better of the 2nd round picks and . . . yeah, I've run out of rainbows.

Second round pick is top 55 protected, so we get it.

14, 20 and 22 - not so great. There's like a 1 percent chance the Sacramento pick lands at 2 or 3. Got to love those odds.

Rumors he wouldn't listen to the Kings front office and do as they wanted. He's now been fired twice where it seems crazy by two different teams and both times rumors he had issues with the front office. Good coach, but you need to work with the front office or you won't last long. Basically tied his fate to making the playoffs after not listening to them and he failed. Kings are in a great spot as coaches for the first time since the Chris Weber days will want to coach that team. Dave Joerger might regret this for a very long time.

14, 20 and 22 - not so great. There's like a 1 percent chance the Sacramento pick lands at 2 or 3. Got to love those odds. NBA changed the rules, top four picks are now in play, not just top three. So we have a 3.8% chance of getting pick 2-4 in the lottery. Certainly not good odds, but a huge improvement over the old odds of like 1%. Kings pick also has a 1% chance of being the top pick, which I don't want to even think about. This lottery could be crazy and make teams rethink tanking as you could see a ton of movement and the Knicks could potentially fall to pick #5.

Sixers are in trouble if they can't beat the Nets at home WITH Embiid.

Raptors just lost but there’s still a 0.4 % they lose the series tho

Sixers are in trouble if they can't beat the Nets at home WITH Embiid. Sixers fans who were expecting this round to be a mere formality are in for a bumpy ride even past this game. The Nets are a very fundamental team with legit NBA talent, they're incredibly well coached and they execute their gameplan to perfection. They played some beautiful basketball earlier today. To think that the Lakers flat out GAVE AWAY D-Lo for absolutely nothing, geez... And I agree with RJP, the Raptors are not losing their series. Would be fun if it happened, but since I didn't watch the game I don't know if I should get my hopes up. I did watch the Nets game though. Great stuff.

Let's hope the Nets or Magic win, that would be perfect for us. They have both played great Basketball to end the year. I agree very unlikely the Raptors don't win, but I'd give them better odds than .4% considering they just stole home court away from the Raptors. They match up well against them and have played them well in the regular season. The East is deep and solid for the first time in a while. Heck overall this might be the best playoff field in a long time. Even the Clippers gave the Warriors a game for a time.
Now the Celtics just need to show up! Destroy the Pacers game one and send a message!

Slow start and a ridiculous number of turnovers but they seem to have settled down thanks to Morris (haha).
