Nice to see Brad had his team ready for the start of the playoffs.

Brown playing really great with 0 points, 2 TOs and a -13.
They're probably going to have to shoot better than 32%.

Well that was a much better 3rd quarter.

This quarter has been an entire season in the making. Hell yes guys, hell yes.
Meanwhile, Tiger Woods is a very bad man. Very macho stuff.

I don't even care about shooting and points, they'll come in time. Love the engery and D.

Garbage time began way too soon here, no reason for that.

Good win - not sure how you all could watch the first half with Tigers epic win going on. What a great sports day.

The atmosphere was very real, it wasn't a surprising win because he was really close at the Open and then at the PGA, but to think that he had porn parodies made of him during in his lost decade makes it that more awesome. One of the biggest sports events I ever witnessed, quite possibly the biggest since the 04 ALCS.

How ridiculous is it that Tiger made national news (cross cultural, far beyond sports) for winning the masters at only 21, and now is doing it again 22 years later for the opposite reason.
Someone made the comment about why do so many people root for Tiger to dominate but hate the Patriots for the same reason.
Oh yeah, Celtics. I love that they won a rock fest with stellar D and just enough Offense. They don't have to win every game that way, but they need that intensity on D for a full game so that they don't get those 3rd quarter blues.

People love and hate team sports because of nothing more than Geography so that’s a huge influence.

Also, Tiger was basically done a few years back. It felt like he would never win anything again so it felt like a bonus to see a legend coming back to school the young'uns.

All these days off are why the Celtics do better in the playoffs. Gives them extra time to Practice and for Stevens to coach them up. They are going to need all that time. The D and engery was great, they drove to the Basket which is a must, yet a lot of work to be done on offense.
Watched part of the first game again and they have to work on Irving's ability to play off the ball. I can't stand watching him sit at half court clapping his hands for the ball as Rozier brings it up. Rozier looked to the bench, got the play, was calling it out to his teammates and Irving didn't care. It's why Rozier doesn't play well with Irving, he won't let him act as the PG and just has to have the ball in his hands. If I'm Stevens I don't play those two together unless I have no choice. You just lose a ton of the value Rozier brings, nevermind the time you waste on the clock.
The Pacers just don't have the talent to beat us if we play hard and play very good D. Yet we need to improve our team play or we are going to struggle against the better teams. Tatum needs more shots. Still think you need Tatum, Brown, and Irving driving, Horford posting up for everything to click. That's what got Rozier a ton of open three last year and Irving would be money with those shots. Yet he just wants to create all his offense.
While Hayward is playing better and is very skilled he's just not the same. He just lacks explosion or he's still afraid to try and use it. Couple drives last game where he would have dunked it before, now you get weak layup attempts where he tries to avoid contact. I'm still hoping it's mental and at some point given it's the playoffs he can overcome that, but it's not good so far.

No Cousins changes that team, they just aren't the same dominate team we've seen before. Nevermind the Clippers are one of the better 8th seeds in recent memory. As a basketball fan these playoffs are great, litterally only one playoff series where the team has legit no chance and that's the Bucks and Pistons. That is two straight games the Clippers have made big runs on the Warriors.

They're insanely talented and have all the tools to steamroll the Clippers, but indeed this series has been competitive and should remain so. I agree with you that only the Pistons have no shot of advancing, great stuff thus far.

Man if the Lakers had a pulse, they would hire David Joerger like right now. It's ridiculous that they're even considering absolute trash like Ty Lue and Monty Williams. Don't give the keys to your franchise to Lebron James.

Not sure I'd want the Lakers Asst Coach job (bc that is what it would be). Also, is Monty Williams trash as a coach? Thought he was very highly respected.
As UMASS pointed out, Joerger has now been fired from 2 jobs despite having success. Sounds like he might play well with others.

Kyrie on fire tonight. These games are way too rare for him to act like he does all the time. He plays like LeBron James once out of 10-15 games.
This is so much better to watch than the Red Sox right now.
