I was starting to think the Orioles would keep squandering all these opportunities; fortunately they're coming through now.

Chavis now rocking a 3% BB rate and a 42% K rate this year. yikes! can't trade him for much at this point, but his profile is so unlikely to be productive going forward without huge changes.

I’m starting to think we traded the wrong former-#1 prospect.

Two observations about Valdez: 1) The Mariners did not have a spot for him? Really? 2) if trading Hembree means more from him, that isn’t bad.

Pillar doing it all today. Hitting for power, swiping a base, throwing a guy out at second. Way to showcase yourself.

Can’t be a corner OF and have a fly ball land directly over your head and bounce on grass in Baltimore. Again, probably in the minority, but I’d like to see Stock get more chances. He has the arm...needs better location, yes.

Chavis has no trade value. I guess they could keep him around in AAA to see if he can figure out how to hit a decent fastball. He's pretty much a closed book at the moment. I don't see any point in giving him MLB playing time.
