Our top two pass rushers last year had 12 and 11 QB hits for example, Winovich and Wise.

Wow Mills got four years 24 million, 9 million guaranteed. That's a surprise.

Golladay, Davis, Juju? I LOVE Samuel but he's more suited to be a #2

I love Golladay, yet that would surprise me. Juju is a great fit, yet no way his personality fits this team. I don't know about Davis, going with Samuel because of the Newton connection.

The numbers that are reported are not a great way to do the Cap Math (which is why Miguel waits). The reported number is usually the "up to" number which wouldn't reflect the NLTBE bonuses that wouldn't count against the cap.

Check my math, but I believe that's around $45m of the money they had to spend this year, so I think you're right about who the realistic targets are. Edit: I didn't include Wise and Brown so my number is way off, but they've still spent lot so a $20m WR is probably unlikely. Until contract details are announced trying to calculate the 2021 cap hits is a futile exercise.

Report has the Pats going after Kendrick Bourne. Don't know anything about him, but cool to see they're still going after guys. Howe saying that’s not the only WR they’re talking to I think they know they need to remake that room with the exception of Meyers Quite a fun day so far

Gives them that over the top dimension they needed
Hopefully they still add more to that grouping

Agalor is 2/26, Bourne 3/22. Not much long term but huge money for two guys with a wide range of outcomes. Agalor is real money. Gimme Kenny G at 5/90 instead.

Like the Bourne signing a lot more than the Agholor signing but if Agholor plays like he does last year I like that signing too. I just don’t trust him yet

Corey Davis went for 3/37 to the Jets. Seems like a better deal than Agholor. I thought Davis would be closer to 4/50.

Now all they need is an actual quarterback to throw to them. I was sold on Cam last year, but he proved to be a big bust in the latter stages of the season.

This is rather shocking. I fully expected a bunch of signings, maybe a few big ones, yet not this.
Yeah we have to wait on the details. Look at Newton 1 year 14 million became 4.9 million cap hit.
Jalen Mills 4 years 24 million is kinda shocking as he played SS last year.
Nelson Agholor at two years 26 million is shocking. He drops a ton of passes. If the cap hit is much less it makes sense, yet at 13 million wow. He can be a deep threat or a slot guy. Wouldn't a bigger target with a bigger catch radius make more sense for Newton?

The 10 mill guaranteed makes me think it’s structured to most likely play out as a 2/10 deal (with additional incentives)
I’ve always liked Wise though. Useful player. That might be the Razorback part of my family talkin tho

12 hours later, the Aglolor deal is the only one that really makes me shake my head. You couldn't get Samuel for $13m per? He's definitely a 2 who is young enough that he could still grow into a 1b. If Aglolor is so great why didn't we sign him for $1m instead of running Byrd all season?

Hoping for some inhouse work today. Maybe re-sign Andrews and Guy? How about a Gilmore extension?

The Bucs resigned Shaq Barrett and Gronk yesterday. AB also expected to resign. If they bring back Godwin, Gronk, AB, David and Barrett can we admit they are bringing most of the team back again?

If Aglolor is so great why didn't we sign him for $1m instead of running Byrd all season? The amount makes me shake my head, yet they want Agholor the 18.6 yards per reception guy from last year that was one of the best deep threats in football. Samuel's best season just came being a slot guy at 11.1 yards per catch. I have serious questions if Agholor was the right guy for Newton given his small catch radius and drop rate. I'm fairly certain Samuel would be worse at that than Agholor, Samuel is more like a Welker/Edelman meets Patterson type WR. Given that it was more like should they have went after Davis, Fuller, Galloday?

Most of it sure, still missing two key pieces though, two of the biggest impactful players from the Superbowl in Suh and Fournette. Nevermind their kicker and depth.
