I don't disagree, yet how many edge players are we going to have? Bills probably having nightmares about not having any last year... Wino might get dealt... Then draft better, Wino, Uche and Jennings are all recent higher type picks, now Perkins. I just want a WR.

FWIW Bedard wonders if hes more of a Hightower type than an edge. Like Uche as an ILB?

According to pff,
Barmore was their highest rated DL over the past two seasons in all of college ball.
edit: looks like rjp beat me to most of this.

Once Schwartz was gone, no one really did it for me in this draft. I love Tylan Wallace, 205 receptions, 3,434 yards and 26 TDs while missing time with an injury. He’s a steal in the 4th. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Marquez Stevenson and Jaelon Darden are my other top rated guys left. They have the physical skills and production I look for. Schwartz is crazy fast, yet his production isn't that good.

I'm receiver crazy, yet these are guys that I have as good value. Daviyon Nixon DT, you can say no way, yet for me he's a crazy value at 120 if he's there. Michael Carter RB at 120 makes sense, Shaun Wade-DJ Daniels-Marco Wilson at CB, Trey Smith at OG is very good value and Dylan Moses-Jabril Cox at ILB stand out.
All three of my draft magazines have Nixon as the #1 DT. He's somewhat raw, yet seen as a very high upside pass rushing DT. I've seen all pro upside.
Yet that is always what gets me in trouble with Bill's drafting. I'm going after the high upside guys, he values production/NFL ready even if those guys will be limited in the NFL.

I hate still having holes at WR, future CB and OL upside. And yet the upside of the Front 7 is much higher than last year. Will hopefully help if one of Gilly and JC goes.

Maybe, but so far Bills done the exact opposite this year and drafted guys at spots with really good value. There’s not one reach so far. You don’t draft for need in the draft when a player you have a round higher grade on is sitting there for you. For example - they may really like Wallace at 96, but had a 2nd round grade on Perkins - high don’t pass on the second rounder for need at that point in the draft. Trust me, I want a receiver with this next pick too. Losing that 3rd rounder is painful.

I don’t like running backs in the first couple rounds but late 3 and on, I really do like them, if the right guys around. It’s not a high need but the way they use their backs and cycle they them it’s a pretty decent one. Some backs I like:
Carter Evans sleeper a bit later Gainwell for a White understudy

I think if he gets healthy he could play a Dion Lewis role for change of pace "get me 6 yards" runner/catcher.

I see 4 needs left. OLT, WR, S, CB. OLT most critical.

Just read BBs comments on Perkins. Nothing even hints that Bedard is correct in projecting a move to more offline LB but . . .

My draft magazines have 2/3 and 3rd round grades on him. I have a 2nd round grade on Wallace, one of the most underrated WRs in this class. You used 2nd and 3rd round picks on OLB last year passing on WRs. You signed two darn good OLB in free agency. I love me value, yet I'm so sick and tired of them drafting no WRs. You got Mac Jones and I'm a huge believer in when you take a first round QB, you take weapons to grow with him. Yeah it is, yet trading two fourth round picks to move up 8 spots is also painful.

He had 23 receptions in three games last year, giving you a good all around RB.

I’m not going on anything; I said the Pats may have had those grades. I’m more happy they don’t seem to be reaching for guys than I am disappointed they haven’t drafted a receiver.

I guess they only scouted two teams.

I give up, not a bad pick, yet so many good RBs left. Could have went Kylin Hill or Chris Evans next round. Typical Bill avoids the deep parts of the draft, we'll wait for a bad WR class to take a guy.

Good thing Lamar Jackson can’t throw Yeah they don't get it, its not the WRs, it's the QB.

Typical Bill avoids the deep parts of the draft, we'll wait for a bad WR class to take a guy. This is where those other two picks would have been valuable. Fine with the pick, but maybe Bill could have picked up a relevant WR if he had more draft capital. I'd say Wallace will be a better pro than Stevenson, yet with Jackson that might not happen. At some point he has to take WRs. The Ravens have drafted five WRs over the last few years, we've taken one. If his ratings don't match, he needs to look into changing them.

My bad they switched to Michigan - taking Evans next as the second RB

Cameron McGrone is a good pick, smaller fast LB. Yet recovering from torn ACL and already tore his ACL in his other knee. Lacks coverage abilities, yet a huge upgrade over Bentley if he gets healthy.
