That's a nice update from BA. How about the people who post here and who got to watch Yorke over the season: What impression did he leave you with playing second base?

Evan Carter got drafted 50th overall and wasn't even in the BA 500 but sure, Yorke was the surprise pick of the draft.

I'm really happy to hear about Blaze Jordan's better than expected defense at 3b. It keeps alive the dream I have of an infield featuring Casas/Yorke/Mayer/Jordan. This reminds me of the Cubs' World Series Game 7 infield, with Bryant-Russell-Baez-Rizzo, and Schwarber DH'ing. I distinctly recall telling my friend that they were going to be a beast for a decade to come. Man, how quickly that fell apart.

True, but not because of Schwarber or the infield with the except of Russell whose disgusting vile actions torpedoed his career.

There's a huger difference between 96 on their list/a note on their own site that some scouts saw him as having the best HS hit tool on the west coast and a guy they literally hadn't heard of in Carter. On the Future Projection podcast (a BA podcast) Collazo was talking about how Yorke's pick was a bit surprising but wasn't crazy, whereas literally nobody (not Harold Reynolds who doesn't know what tf he's even talking about or whoever it was that was stunned at the Yorke pick on the broadcast) had even heard of Carter when the pick came in. I'm just going off of what BA has otherwise said in the past, to be frank.

LOL, enjoy your peaceful boat.

BA had Casas as #9 in AA-Northeast and Duran #9 in the AAA-East.

It should be noted that the AA-Northeast was pretty stacked in terms of top talent. If someone ranked Adley Rutschman, Spencer Torkelson, Riley Greene, and Grayson Rodriguez as #1-4 in baseball I wouldn't call that crazy.
