Always a great idea to bring in a lefty to face Bobby D.

Some perspective - despite concerns, slumps, walks, some frustration, if we win this game it will be win 38.
Only Tampa, with 39, has more wins. SF Giants also have 38.
Not too shabby!
Edited to add - there it is. Win 38.

That was an excellent victory. Red Sox pitching really couldn't stop Houston's offense, but for once the Sox mashed the Astros' pitching. Greinke wasn't good and the Sox took advantage of the one area Houston is totally vulnerable and that's their middle relief. I'm glad they were able to avoid the sweep.
After playing the Astros, all I can say is I hope that the White Sox or Rays get paired up with the Astros and knock them off so the Sox can avoid them if the Sox do indeed make the playoffs (and beyond the Wild Card game which I hope the Sox can also avoid).

Chapman gave up 4R (2 HR) in 9 pitches and blew the game for NYY too.
