The DPE is just a monetary exception. I was wrong, mixing up sports, you need four players injured to apply for roster exceptions. Also forgot the contracts aren't fully guaranteed till January.
So you have two open spots, one if they keep the 15 spot open.

Injuries have fixed the issues with minutes. Yet not a fan of the current guard rotations, Smart and White, then Brogdon and Pritchard. That's extreme D, then extreme offense, add in Hauser and it's extreme. We really need a wing defender that can really rebound for the bench. That's not Justin Jackson. Yeah it nitpicking a team that should be really good, yet Tatum at PF and it's a glaring need.
I love seeing Blake Griffin cracking jokes with Tatum. That's why you sign veterans.

Love seeing Hauser be lights out from deep. Let’s hope that sticks

Good win, I know it doesn’t count they were down by 16. Mazzulla gave the first unit the night off except Jaylen Brown. Jackson had a better night. I am rooting for Vonleh. I low key am really liking Hauser. It’s like there so much more deeper and looking good. You know I hate it that Timelord is gonna miss a few weeks but maybe silver lining he come back refreshed.

Nice to see Griffin grab 9 boards in 16 min, that’s what we’ll need from him

Griffin isn’t a scrub, he will be useful this year, if he stays healthy. Hopefully, he’s one of those solid veteran players that knows how to play, defense, rebounding, good passing vision, picks his spots. High IQ players with good energy. Those guys can really help round out a team and stop the huge drop off. It’s helpful, if the top of your roster doesn’t have all their gains given away when they take a rest and have to battle all game every game.

Hauser, looks good. I’m preparing myself for him to disappear into the bench once the season starts. Then everyone wonder why his shooting disappeared when he gets scrub minutes.

We can debate Griffin in playoffs, yet Griffin over Kornet in regular season is a massive upgrade.
Fun fact of the day, Kornet has 300k guaranteed, you can release him and sign Vonleh and still save money as there's like a 700k difference in their minimum amounts. Then have to January till he's fully guaranteed.
Unlikely yet I'd then sign Cousins and leave the 15th spot open for getting a wing defender. Doesn't workout you have to January before his contract is fully guaranteed. Given the age and injury histories of our bigs I stack up on them. Nevermind Cousins would be great in helping Robert Williams expand his game.

Langford isn't getting many minutes for the Spurs, they likely don't dump him, yet if they did I'd go grap him.

Samanic waived, Providence alum and Roxbury native AJ Reeves added on an exhibit 10 deal
Let’s see if they can develop him into a 3 and D bench guy

Yahoo says no extension for G-Will coming before the deadline. I guess they are opting for flexibility and/or making sure the value is right. Wonder if the team was looking at $11-12M per and Grant wanted $15M per so they all are letting it play out. I don't want to overpay him but adding his type of talent is hard as a tax payer.

I think it’s a fairly safe bet by the Celtics that another team won’t be looking to use cap space to sign Grant Williams and if they are then the Celtics can match unless it’s crazy money - and even if it’s a tad high they can suck it up and maybe trade White.

I don't know Grant, need to remember no Ime as coach. You got basically 25 and 27 minutes per game regular season and post season. If Tatum plays PF he might see a reduction in minutes, especially when Robert Williams gets back. We just don't know how our new coach will use guys and Grant's not great at center. Yet I sure do hope he proves last year wasn't a fluke and deserves $15 million per.

Charles Bassey is the only guy that’s been cut that I’d have interest in so far

I love Bassey he can really rebound and block shots. Was darn impressive in G-league. He's just a few years away and at this point you have to question his character. Why else are they cutting him?

Mazzulla said he's treating tonight like a regular season game so we should get some clarity on his rotations.

It’s smart they hold the cards. Let another team establish his price then it’s up to Brad to match or not. I hope he stays I love his improvements.

Funny you say that . I read he could be a trade candidate at deadline because what he does Brogdon does this is what I read from Bleacher or ESPN.

Last practice game tonight. I agree with cutting Thomas. I can’t wait this season will be fun
Vonleh made team.
I hope JB gets his extension but I think if he waits he can sign for more if he goes to his free agent year.
