I'd trade Agholor for a 7th round pick swap if a team would pick up most of his salary. Unless Wynn is acting out I likely don't trade him. You likely have to pay most of his salary and he's still depth. I question moving him to RT versus trading him. Yet if Brown get injured or even Cannon he has the ability to play at a high level, even if he's sucked so far. Unless you do something high unlikely like go after Claypool, I'm not trading Bourne. I'm not considering Parker, Harris or Peppers. We have plenty of picks next year. I'd say go after a LB like Smith, yet Unless they figure crap out I don't know if it even makes sense. Up till last game I felt good about the team. Last game was disaster on so many levels it likely doesn't make sense. Which is a shame. The most important move is not playing Bryant, who got picked last game for two huge plays yet again. If they do make a huge splash this off-season I see Smith being the guy. SEC, plays fast, exactly what they need. Will prob need like $18 mill per and a fat guarantee to get it done but I think he’d be worth it

The QB mess the team is in started when BB decided not to replace McDaniel with another OQ. It got worse when Mac got hurt and a green kid came in to stay the course. What happened last night is simply unbelievable from an experienced HC. The reaction from Myers was honest and to the point and I give him credit for sticking up for a team mate. BB needs to look up what trust means in the dictionary, his head has gotten too big for his own good! Kinda agree. Was handled atrociously. Either Mac is ready or he’s not. That schefter report from pregame about both getting reps was insane to me and the process played out about as badly as it possibly could’ve. Mac gets more or less humiliated on national television and then Zappe comes in and plays like ass after his hot start (which was some quick reads, a good ball to Parker and a bad ball on a busted coverage that Jakobi saved him from looking awful on). This isn’t training camp, what are we even doing?? Worst possible outcome tbh Talent-wise this team is Judon Everybody else Isaiah Wynn, Myles Bryant Mills goes in the Wynn-Bryant group. He has been awful.

I do like all 3 Jones’s over him tho Wouldn’t shock me if Mills moves to McCourty’s spot if McCourty retires

Will prob need like $18 mill per and a fat guarantee to get it done but I think he’d be worth it It's obvious to anyone that watches the games they need more speed and play making ability at LB. That's the issue though, Bill is more about depth than paying huge money in free agency. Given his recent drafting it makes sense to me They've only taken one LB with that type of speed in McGrone in how many drafts? He missed a full year and was raw coming out. Uche was always more DE/pass rusher than LB. Jennings isn't bad, yet not close to a sideline to sideline type guy, heck he's more of a 3/4 OLB. It wasn't long ago in 2019 that we had a darn good collection of LB. Why a bunch of us were so crazy high on McGrone. Has the ability to make plays, would add speed and athleticism to the LB core, while also being a big hitter. Yet we likely won't see him till next year.

We finally have our answer on Mac Jones, numbness in his toes still. So the ankle is healed, yet he's not 100%.

This defense is so pathetic on third down. It makes zero sense.

Josh Allen can't feel his fingers or toes in cold weather. If the offense does nothing today then something needs to give. Either go back to Zappe or run the offense Mac wants. Awful decision bringing in Patricia and Joe Judge.

Just woefully unprepared on both sides of the ball
Saddest thing is Bledsoe had the best coverage on the drive on that TD ball

He's like Brady needs a great OL and we don't have that right now. Zappe does better with those breakdowns with OL, moves better in the pocket.

Bears game looked like they weren't prepared. This looks like the Jets are just better on both sides. No Dugger, Barmore, Andrew's and then Parker leaves.

Zappe does better with those breakdowns with OL, moves better in the pocket. I'm not sure how true that is. We've seen Brady drag bad OLs before, but I agree Mac needs a good one and he doesn't have it. I think that's also a slight on Mac with him being a QB that needs to have something to thrive.

I am listening, not watching. Socci and Zolak sound quite unimpressed with the Pats performance.
Zolak just called Wilson't INT the worst throw he's seen all year! We've not dead yet!

Mac is unplayable at the moment. He just got a gift from the officials there, but I don’t know how much longer they can ride with him.

Penalties, penalties - Pats can't even get a gift and do something with it. Jones' decision making does not seem particularly good. Will we see Zappe in the second half???

Might as well, Mac should have at least 2 more picks. This game should be out of hand if not for the roughing the passer. It sounds like Bill is going to take the ball out of Macs hands and try to win this running the ball and timely short passes in the 2nd half. This is hard because Zappe looked very good and seemed to gel with this team/offense. Mac also looked good his rookie season, but Zappe had two games with a 100+ QBR which Mac hasn't done since the Texans. It looked like early on the Patriots were trying things with Mac that could contribute to some early struggles. I also feel like Mac could improve what he was last year if he had a better OL and offensive coordinators who are actually offensive coordinators. So, do you go with Zappe who might be better for this season, or struggle with Mac so you don't lose him next year and hopefully get better coordinators?

Have they had more negative yardage running plays today than positive ones?

Wish they could have got another score by now. But failing that, the kicking game (Nick) has been fabulous. Let's bring this one home. Gift #2!

Hard to know where the team is after this game - a win is a win - gradual improvement? Just the kind of season it is bound to be - we will be at .500 - and it feels very .500ish so far this year.
Feeling the same about the Celtics - a work in progress (with Williams injured). At least the Bruins are off to a big time start!
