Jags getting a jump on next year by trading for suspended WR Calvin Ridley
EDIT - Whether it's actually a jump on next season (as well as the compensation) depends on when he's reinstated.

Cannon in concussion protocol which could put his availability this week in jeopardy. Could be the Wynn/Cajuste show. Would also impact jumbo (3TE) packages.

They played 6 OL guys 8 out of 78 times last game. Which is very normal for short yardage plays. If anything I'd say that's see more, not less. I'll take an extra blocker over Junno Smith getting 50 snaps.
I just can't understand how a coach/GM that loved blocking TEs has ended up in this position. Typically when the OL gets man handled like the last two games he just keeps a blocking TE in. Yet you can't do that when you don't have one.
Henry been good at blitz pickups and chip blocking, yet neither TE is a good inline blocker and Henry needs to be running routes.

After the bye, just switch Brown and Wynn back. Even though it's a new blocking scheme (or that's what was said all throughout camp), can it really be much worse??
For all the issues this team has had, OL play (specifically at the Ts) HAS to be at the top of the list.

If you believe in PFF Cole Strange is just as big of an issue as the OT, lowest grade among the 6 players who've played a bunch, even lower than Wynn. Four sacks allowed. He was man handled and replaced last game. What was reported at senior bowl, big huge athletic DT have given him huge problems.
You think Bill would have understood not all OL guys can just switch sides. We experienced that last year with Onwenu at LG, why we traded Shaq Mason because he plays much better on the right side, one of the better RG in football now.
Nevermind something not many people talk about, yet to end last year Trent Brown wasn't very good at RT.
It's a mess in a way I can't remember for a long-time. Too bad that massive RT from Michigan ended up on season ending IR.
You have to do something. The penalties were killing us, yet the sack issue has now become the bigger issue. Switching Brown and Wynn is a start. Only other option is Cajuste yet is he ready as a young player coming off IR?
You likely don't want to take Onwenu dominating at RG and move him to RT.
The more I think about it, playing 6 OL guys more, with less Junno Smith might be the way. Load a side like Ravens, go full on run it down their throats. Then do play action and crap like that. Keep a RB in to help the other side, with Henry doing chip blocks to slow down the rushers.

I do NOT like the inactive list. Andrew's, Barware, Parker and D Harris all out with injuries.
Not great

Based on warm-ups, it looks like Cajuste is getting the start at RT.

This is like two high school offenses going up against NFL defenses. Just horrible football.

Today's announcers have basically nailed Mac Jones issues. Struggles quickly going from deep reads to dump down ones and is not seeing whole field focusing on certain players.

Zolak comment - thinks it's the worst the passing game has ever looked.
Thank goodness the Colts were worse, and our D showed up.

Amongst an underwhelming qb class, Mac is the one player that got worse in his second season. He looked bad today. Things he did well last year (accuracy, throwing guys open) have fallen off a cliff this season.
I don’t understand why they don’t run play action for him like they do Zappe.

Worst I’ve felt about a 26-3 win, I’ll say that much
Defense was sensational but the colts line was even worse than ours and Ehlinger is #NotGood
Good day for the ST minus Bailey, who looks like he received a visit from the Nerdlucks this off-season and they stole his abilities

I watched the end of the Bucs game. There was Brady standing at his own 39 yard line with 44 seconds to go and no timeouts needing a touchdown to win. The Rams never had a chance. Reminded me of the good old days when he did that in New England. I thought he had lost his fast ball and this was the end. Nope. He still has is and this is why he's the greatest QB ever.
