Bruins are playing garbage hockey right now. It's painful to watch after the rest of the season. Losing to crap teams in crap ways.

In reality they need to stop turning the puck over at the blue lines
May have been Ullmark’s worst game of the year. McAvoy was bad. Forbort was bad. Bergeron/Krejci/Marchand were bad.

Important W, but not the dominant team we have been used to.
PP abysmal, too many turnovers, bad entries, too many penalties (hobble officiated game, btw).
Swagman won that one for them. Little lucky to save the shutout, but very strong game from him. Still want to see more of Lauko, but hard to do with this much veteran talent.

Yeah I think Lauko has been very impactful each time he’s been up. He apparently wanted out because he wants to play at the NHL level but I’m glad they held on because they’ll need him and his ELC next year

Today they faced the best team in Hockey for the past 17 games in Minnesota and played very well. It appears they are out of that little funk they were in. Good all around game today. |

Eh. C or C minus. Only one Touchdown? Disappointing, but at least they eked out a W. A touchdown EACH of the last 2 times they played against Buffalo who should be playing for the playoff lives. Swayman has back to back shutouts which puts him in rare territory of B's goalies who've done the same and he's gone over 7 periods without allowing a goal. Earlier this year he went over 8 periods without allowing a goal. He's closing the gap with Ullmark quickly and might create a good problem come playoff time but were not there yet. I'm going to the TB game Saturday seven rows back in a corner where the B's will shoot twice. All is well again. |

Ullmark had himself a game. Was a bit worried about his night after that goal. He lost track of the guy behind the net and gave it up. But then just.a great game form him.
PP looked good early, not so much late. Would love to see them make some progress there before the postseason.

Looking at stats this morning - Pasta 5th in points, second in goals - Hampus, Grizz and Carlo 1, 2 3 in plus minus, Ullmark and Swayman 1,3 in Goals against, 1 and 4 in save pct, 1 in wins (Ullman) - Team Boston 2 in goals for, 1 in goals against, 1 in save pct, 3 in shutouts
The stats and their astronomical record certainly match

Kind of bummed they aren't giving players days off at this point, The President's trophy is as closed to clinched as it could be, you have back to back games over the weekend. Give a couple of the older guys a day off Saturday, a couple Sunday. Use Zboril to keep rotating D-men.
