Obviously David’s best pitch would have to be followed by a strong contract offer but David is also the best figure to get John Henry on board with said offer.

One thing I will note is that I can't find anybody working for the Mets or a reporter connected the Mets saying anything to hype their fans up about Soto. It's all just people with no inside info saying of course Cohen will spend infinite money.
There was that Andy Martino guy that was Cohen's personal stenographer the last couple years and he's got nothing to say
