With a big lead I'm totally fine pitching to contact. I'd prefer he sacrifice hits for walking guys He still walked 2 guys. I mean, I'm not saying Bello has been BAD, he just isn't spinning a gem IMO. |

Not trading Ohtani was the biggest blunder in the history of the trade deadline. There's a 0% chance he stayed and he would have commanded a haul. It's the Angels man, that franchise is cursed, any return they got for Ohtani would inevitably flame out. Trading him or not trading him would be ultimately irrelevant. That's how sh*t that franchise is. |

I honestly think the Mookie trade set this franchise back 5+ years. If he takes that deal, they have a top 3 player locked up long-term for reasonable money. Plus he seamlessly transitions from RF to SS to 2B without missing a beat(playing great defense the whole time). There is just no replacing the Greatest prospect they’ve had since Ted Williams. Mookie trade was the most painful thing I've endured as a Red Sox fan, but at some point we just have to accept he didn't want to be here. And that's fine, he did good by the franchise while he was here. |

Good thing Celtics avoided Lonzo… out for season Really feel bad for him. I didn’t like him as a prospect, but I liked the player he was hinting at becoming. Now it would take a massive turnaround for him to salvage his career. Really sad man. |

fWAR backs you up on this. Perennial play-off team soon, though. Or so we’re told. I don’t understand how some people have redpilled themselves into thinking this team could be GOOD ENOUGH and then pray so they get hot in the post-season. I mean, yeah, you need to get hot in the post-season to win it all, but you need to get there first. Being a middle of the road team that lacks top level talent means you probably won’t get there lol. |

Nobody plays to the level of their competition quite like the 2023 Boston Red Sox, a sign of a very unserious team. You can say that about the Celtics and Bruins in the past season, but not the Red Sox. The Red Sox very simply lack talent. The team is pedestrian. |

I’m with you, but they have already implemented challenges on plays. I wonder — at least — if we could get a ball/strike challenge? Like JT’s call… go to the box, obviously overturn it, carry on. That's not going to work for me friend. What I need them to do is allow for a challenge, go to the box, obviously overturn and then FIRE THE UMP IN THE SPOT. That kind of call is as terrible for the sport as roids were, it has no place in the major leagues. |
