The offense is making the margin for error sooooo low. It's making Farrell a way bigger factor than he should be on a nightly basis. Not with how well the pitchers have been pitching.

Honest question: Are the Red Sox even trying right now? I mean, this juggernaut lineup has looked half asleep the last three games.

The offense is just gasping - running on fumes. They need some home cooking really badly. this game is another microcosm of the types of things that have gone wrong during the season.

Would have been nice for Barnes to start that inning. Reactive management is always being a step behind.

A pretty good road trip overall, but it could have been so much more with some timely hitting and better set up men.

One thing for sure - Dave O'Brien pulls no punches - referred to how "horrible this team is with the bases loaded" - just asked "wonder if Farrell considered PH Leon for Holaday"?

Makes matters a lot worse when the bottom 4 in your lineup are Young (vs RHP), Hill, Shaw and Holaday, and then Farrell can't even ph for Holaday in late innings with 2 outs and RISP.

Player's are screwing up this game worse than manager.....can't blame em. They are probably tired and trying to hard.

Two hits and a 1-2-3 inning. Classic.

AB's like that make me wonder why I even root for this team! Ok maybe that is a little too dramatic but i dont blame Mookie for going for second base there after that DP!

Time to move Bogaerts down in the order until he comes out of this funk. He's a black hole at the top of the lineup right now. Can't have that.

Bradley and Bogey first pitch swinging double plays is just gross. They both have seemed to hit a bit of a wall.
