Is it only one coin flip or multiple coin flips? I don't know jack about the draft lottery.
Edit: I mean one to decide the ping pong balls and one to decide who gets the pick priority.

It's only one coin flip. Remember, the Red Sox and Utah split the 4th/5th place ping-pong balls, so the coin flip only decides who gets the one odd ping-pong ball that can't be split, as well as who picks first if neither Utah or Boston picks in the top 3.

I think the tankapalooza karma is going to be in the Celtics corner (knock on wood) this time around. This team played hard for the most part, and was well coached. My prediction is the #2 pick.

Thank you this what I wanted to know. Oh well more drama still. Head always wins.

By the way, everyone worked out in the Celtics' favor tonight. Brooklyn also fell into a tie record-wise with Washington, which means the pick Boston will get from Brooklyn could be 17th or 18th (I believe that will be decided by a coin flip as well, but am not 100% sure on that one).

Thank God this nightmare is over, please hit the jackpot in the lottery so we never have to go through this stuff again.

The Brooklyn pick will be a coin flip as well. This is such a crucial stage of the rebuild, so many different things could take place. They can either continue to acquire assets or they can start flipping those assets for veterans. Whatever Danny does, let's hope it's right. Personally, I don't want a playoff team. I want a contender and I'm willing to watch a rebuild, but I want it to be a rebuild.
In my opinion, the worst thing Danny can do is rush things because of Rondo. That doesn't mean a trade isn't the right thing, but only for the right player. They cannot trade for a veteran to appease Rondo and get the wrong guy because that's the best they could do. That's how Cleveland screwed up the Lebron situation. Got desperate, kept adding crappy vets and got screwed. If they trade high picks and young players for a guy and he's not great of the team still isn't of he doesn't get a long with Rondo and Rondo leaves anyways, they are screwed.
Patience is still a virtue.
By the way, there is a decent chance Jabari Parker is not in this draft.

I'm glad whatever small chance he wouldn't declare is a closed matter. I'm still really torn over who I prefer out of the top 3. As long as we have the right to chose one of them I don't really care though.

Parker in the draft, so top 3 is crucial. Lots of interesting players in this draft, but coming away without Wiggins, Parker or Embiid means you haven't gotten the real building block yet.
