I know its early, and despite the 3 ball counts I like the way miley is going after people today.

Rusney making an out on the first pitch. What's new?

Not sure why they're still talking about the Miley-Farrell tiff. That felt inconsequential even when it was taking place.

This team is really, really good at grounding into double plays.

This team is really, really good at grounding into double plays. Yup they even use it as a tactic for scoring runs...

Hey look, Wade Miley's back to being Wade Miley.
Did he tell Freeman what his xFIP is before he threw him that cookie? Asking for a friend.

This team is a fumbling bunch of bums who can't get out of their own way. How in gods name do you walk the leadoff batter?

Miley has been good today. Getting swinging strikes. Got burned for two runs in his only bad sequence of the game.

I stand by this. By no means has our pitching been great. But I'd still take miley for three years, (knock on wood) and even jKelly, and buch. It's the offense that's been unbearable to watch. Stagnant and eye test wise un clutch. One man's opinion

When did Lavarnway learn how to throw to 2nd?

They're literally giving away outs on the bases. They will never, ever win again.

Was already typing "damn BABIP luck" before Maybin dropped that. Here comes Mookie!

Mookie hits a lot of balls in that area of the park. I wonder if a little bit more muscle would turn those fly balls into wall balls.

Hard to hit it harder than Ortiz did right there.

Whenever you think you've seen all the ways to make extra outs on the bases ... the Red Sox come up with a new one.

Hard to hit it harder than Ortiz did right there. Agreed. He an Mookie laced the ball. Napoli just now, too.

Hard to hit it harder than Ortiz did right there. minus a couple hit streaks with multi Homer games, 5 game stretches of 3 or 4....David has looked the same as last year. Not as good as 2012 Papi, or the slightly lesser 2013 version but still raking at times

Mookie/Bogaerts being a stud makes this team literally 5 times as watchable.
