What a game last night! Marcus Smart completely shut Millsap down in the 4th and Overtime... And the 11 straight points! I love this kid, he's going to be an absolute monster.

What a joke of a performance.

Who's the most useless fat excuse for a player, Sullinger or Pablo?

Clearly Pablo. This loss is on Thomas, he just didn't have it. They really miss Bradley's shooting. All of our bigs have been bad this series.

Amir Johnson has been good. Sullinger is just not mobile enough to guard any of Atlanta's bigs and he can't make up for it on the other end with post play or offensive rebounding.

This next 6 months is going to see a roster re-make. I would not be surprised to see Sullinger and/or Kelly go....in a sacrifice and homage to greater athleticism.

Doubt it's Kelly. Despite lack of athleticism, he's one of the best 3-Pt shooters Boston has and Stevens' offense (and IT's success) begs for a stretch 4.

Kelly is slow to get his shots off as well as being reluctant to shoot. That lowers his contributions. True we need a few outside shooters.

Sure, but he's cheap still and, as a reserve, I think there is value.
Granted, if he's needed to make a deal for a star, then he's gone But for the reasons you state, he'd be more like a 3rd piece - after a pick and someone from the Smart/Crowder/Bradley group (though I keep hearing Crowder is close to untouchable)

It's a sad sign when you need Bradley's shooting. It isn't that good but it's the best they got.
Jmei is right about Hunter right now but I've seen a lot more positives defensively than I expected and he seems to understand it's important. The shooting I think will be ok too. It wouldn't surprise me if his game takes a step forward but Rosier definitely is someone to watch.
Evan Fournier is a restricted free agent next year who could be a great fit for this team. I admittedly don't know him too well but he jumps out at me after a quick scan. Young, good size and length and can shoot. The NBA is starting to become a somewhat position-less league in a way and I think he could fit.
Smart guarding the 4 and being effective just highlights this. If his outside shot improves to a Bradley level he can really turn into a very good player as/if he matures.

I've been impressed with Hunter, Rozier, and Mickey this year. Not much playing time but they have all earned a little playing time on a deep team. Compared to James Young that tells me something. I think all three can become at least good role players starting next year.

Sullinger and Turner are almost certainly gone after this year, so the minutes will be available. I could see all three guys breaking into the semi-regular rotation next year.
It's too soon to write off young - the dude is what, 20? - but expecting much from him isn't smart either. But the talent is there if it ever clicks.

I don't think it's a given ET is gone. Sully is for sure. Turner wants to be here and sounds like a guy who will put happiness over money. He's already gone through being depressed in the NBA. That being said he can only pass up so much. It would be great to have him back but I don't even know at what... The new cap is going to take some getting used to as it's such a drastic change. He's come so far defensively and versatility is the name of the game today as positions are blurred. He also shot incredibly well from 3 the last half of the year. This is an outlier but he shot mostly corner 3s during that stretch.

I wonder if RJ is destined to get a good chunk of Turner's minutes. I expect eventually he'll supply similar production, minus the strong rebounding, at a fraction of the cost.

Mutumbo supposedly tweeted out congrats to Philly for winning the lottery and then deleted it quickly.
Philly winning would suck.

I dont understand why everyone is so desperate to trade the pick. Yeah it would be nice to go out and get Butler but it doesnt seem like the Bulls want to trade him and the price would still be too high. We still have Brooklyn's pick the next two years.
