ARod is so so so bad at color commentary. He actually said that Urshela is the best 3B in the AL. Absolutely clueless and/or just can’t help being a member of the Yanks fan club.

Damn we made Judge look good. Hope it forces the MFY to pay hundred millions for him to shit the beds in 2 year.

Over the years we have a bunch of dickwad relievers in the 8th and 9th, Gagne, Jenks, Hanrahan, Barnes, Kimbrel.

ARod is so so so bad at color commentary. He's kinda tolerable when Mendoza is there, but he really can't carry the load by himself without her there to say actually intelligent things.

Two wrecking ball, Matt Hall and Matt Barnes. Are they lost brothers?

I cannot get over Barnes walking the 9-hole guy. If you can't pound the zone there, you just can't be on the mound in the eighth inning of a close game.

The good: - MFY SP outside of Cole is pretty bad. - Judge is clearly peaking too early and will be worthless in the PS. - Getting swept by TB this week will be much less painful than losing to the MFY. - Tied with KC and LAA for worst record in the league. Locking up the worst record in the AL would guarantee us either Kumar Rocker or Jack Leiter in the draft. The bad: - Everything else in our BB lives here in 2020. The ugly: - If a contender desperately needs BP depth and a starting OF, we could give them MB, BWM, JBJ, subsidize the salaries and still get nothing more than a jockstrap in return. Unless we trade JDM at the deadline, we're getting nothing of value to help the 2023 and beyond teams.

If they actually want to be competitive next year they better invest in the pen. Darwinzon isn't going to be enough to save this mess.

Nice to see Raffy snap out of his coma. IIRC he sucked royally the first 10 games last year before he got going. Honestly this season isnt real to me and I think they are close to possibly pulling the plug. Wonder how hard Bloom is working the phones?

They're not tanking. It's not like they're not trying. They just suck. It's that simple. Their two "best" relievers don't throw consistent strikes. The rest of their relievers are mediocre. I'm not sure how anybody could think that the bullpen and their offense would be good enough to offset this horrendous "starting" staff. I think the Red Sox would be fortunate to win 24 games, which would be .400 ball this season. Normally a loss like this to the Yankees would sting, but this Red Sox team is so bad, who cares? Let them suck like they do. Here's the ironic thing. If you told me that the Sox would survive Craig Kimbrel's craptastic 9th inning meltdown (with Nunez and Pearce combining on a great defensive play no less just after a long fly ball falls short of the wall) at Yankee Stadium in Game 4 of the 2018 ALDS but the Red Sox would get beaten like a drum by the MFYs thereafter - I mean the Yankees have beaten the Red Sox 17 times in the last 22 games!! - I would still sign up for that deal. The Yankees are truly the measuring stick of what the Red Sox are and you can see the distance between the two teams when they play each other. The Yankees and Red Sox are teams going in the opposite direction. My only hope is that the playoff system is so unwieldy somebody can knock the Yankees out so they don't win. Who knows? Maybe if they get to the Series, Mookie can lead the Dodgers to victory.

Even with the 7-1 start, Fangraphs gives the MFY just a 10.4-percent chance of winning the WS. I'm not going to worry about something that has odds that long.

If this season were real, I’d say that was a painful loss.
We can only hope the Yankees trade Judge to the Dodgers, since that’s a thing.

I know they want to work with Houck throwing to Lefties. But is there anything to lose having him starting every 5th day for us? I’m all for it

My workers just uncovered a small taclobo giant clam while digging in our yard. We're at 70 meters above sea level. Life goes on....
