Yeah I almost wonder what would have happened if this was a week ago as far as Welker goes.
I wonder if the Pats might have been able to trade for Cordarrelle Patterson from the Vikings before the deadline. He's been basically forgotten this year and relegated to punt and kick returns but he was a monster last year with some crazy yards after the catch.
The offense is really dinged up and losing Lewis and Edelman on top of the Oline injuries really hurts the team on third down.

Yeah if you look at some of the super early mock drafts they have Kris Dunn going mid first round, which could be around the C's own first pick.
The Nets are a terrible, god awful, atrocious, dumpster fire of a team. There's a real chance that is the number 1 pick, definitely top 5. I'd love to get Ben Simmons or Jaylen Brown with that pick.
Edit: Brook Lopez exited the game in the 4th with a sore foot which happens to be the same one he's had a few surgeries on.

Haha wow get that man an editor. Yeah if they're going to move Swihart around, 3B seems like the most logical remaining position barring any offseason moves.
Xander Bogaerts, above average defender... Xander Bogaerts, above average hitter the other way...
The only thing currently missing is power/pure hitting ability, which is arguably what the biggest positive was of him as he rose through the system.
He's developed in every other facet more than I thought he would, certainly before his 23rd birthday. Superstar potential, and he might not even be the best of the two Red Sox guys born in the first 8 days of October 1992
I agree. I have seen many comments on that Fangraphs article and in other places stating their concerns about how he has "no power", doesn't walk and this season is a BABIP fueled fluke. In one year at 22 he has essentially eliminated his two major weaknesses: defense and outside pitches. It's clear that he specifically worked to achieve these goals. I can't wait until he gets working on another one.
Espinoza taken out with 1 out in the 4th due to pitch count. Bad defense/luck in this one.
Yup. Wild pitch, error, and stolen bases accounted for the runs allowed. Having only seen him in GIFs and choppy video I cant really tell, but is AE slow to the plate?
This video I think has been posted before and it's pretty good quality of his delivery. He pitches from the stretch at like 16:20 or so.

I think that one of the best things about Benintendi is that he already has the in-game power. For a lot of prospects, the question is whether they can add power as they fill in and rise through the system, and in that sense he's already ahead of the curve.
