Wow. Tejas is just flat out good. 1 out of three would be nice.

Wow. Tejas is just flat out good. 1 out of three would be nice. Expectations have to be higher than that. At home and no Darvish, 2 of 3 would be nice, 1 of 3 not good not terrible though

No Ellsbury. How long do you go with a groin injury before you DL a guy? Experience says these things need to be just about 100% healed or you're asking for longer term injury.

It's amazing that Ells can't play with a little pain. He has to be 100%? I am just glad a young hungry kid can take that job next year if not sooner at the trade deadline. I am starting to wonder about Shane too we have this guy for 2 more seasons. That one might be one we regret because it's gonna hold up another kid with good potential.

Makes no sense to risk aggravating it further this early in the season, specially with the team in contention.
I've been critical of Ells before, but not for this.

Could we trade drew? I think Pittsburg would be a good match.

Jose making the future of SS really interesting. Him, Xandrer and Marrero are all really nice SS prospects

3 beautiful swings in a row. Iggy with the double, JBJ with the HR and Nava with the hit.

The Red Sox should not be in a rush to trade Drew based on a 10-game hot streak from Iglesias.
I'm a big Jose believer, but he'd be a downgrade at SS this season.

I agree about not trading Drew, but watching Iglesias play is extremely entertaining.

The Red Sox should not be in a rush to trade Drew based on a 10-game hot streak from Iglesias. I'm a big Jose believer, but he'd be a downgrade at SS this season. And what about the 44 game cold streak drew is having? Or the 79 game and 86 game cold streaks he had in 2011 and 2010? I don't think either of them are that great hitters. And drew is a good defensive player. But iggy has the better glove. League average at ss is 307 Obp 372 slugging. I think that is more than realistic goal for iffy. And we know he is above average defensively. Drew has value now, but none to us after this year, as he probably won't be worth a qo. Iggy is cheaper, younger, and under team control.

I'm not sure if I like Eck in the booth full time, but he can be pretty entertaining. "This is a perfect example of, 'Gotta get the guy out of there.'"
