Rather have Fulmer than Benintendi, but I feel pretty good about the pick. Five-headed monster in CF: Betts, Castillo, JBJ, Margot and Benintendi.

My board: 1. Swanson 2. Bregman 3. Rodgers 4. Fulmer 5. Benintendi 6. Tucker 7. Tate
If the Red Sox choose the unexpected pick route, then I would like to see one of Aiken, Happ, DJ Stewart, Clark, Kaprelian, Randolph or Stephenson, in no particular order.
I'm not high on Cameron and Jay.

If the Sox pick Fulmer, would they consider fast tracking him as a reliever to be used in the playoffs and next year send him to the minors to work as a starter? Of course this would only make any sense if they are still in the playoff race when they decide do that.

Nice to see Jerez, Buttrey and Wilkerson pitching well enough to be candidates.

If he keeps up with the good stats at the plate, I'd like to see him promoted by the end of July, basically like Margot's promotion last year. It worked out pretty well for Margot, can't see why it would not work out well for Devers.

Good job by Molitor to bring the closer in that situation.

Xander's UZR/150 this year is actually lower than last year's, which I find bizarre, due to his defensive improvement. SSS, perhaps?

Anyone knows the expected time until the game starts?? MLB.TV doesn't help much when there is a rain delay. That's what Twitter is for. Scott Lauber @scottlauber · 3m3 minutes ago 9:30 Eastern start time for #RedSox and Twins Thank you man. Sadly, it starts very late for us in Europe as you may know. Not that it will keep me from watching the game though.

I get it that Xman isn't kicking ass but it would be nice to have him move up to see better pitches and be protected in lineup. It is a little harder to get going when you hit in front of the catcher. I mean Farrell had him hitting in front of the god dam pitcher when they were in Philly. This is one of the reasons why I don't think Farrell likes Xman. There is no such thing as lineup protection.

If Sanchez can go through 7 innings against our lineup without any command, then E-Rod is probably a good bet to be better than Masterson on stuff only.

The Red Sox problem is not the rotation. It is performing as expected. The real problem is that the lineup is not anywhere close from what anyone expected and the bullpen has been pretty bad too.

What a swing from Colabello. Opposite-field power, very impressive.

Will Middlebrooks, who got off to something of a hot start with the Padres, has totally crashed back to early. He's 2 for his last 32 without an extra base hit, and 0 for his last 19. His season line is down to .191/.230/.340. Amazingly, that gives him an OPS 48 points higher than he had in 2014. Since the start of 2013, only three players with more than 700 plate appearances have a lower wRC+: J.P. Arencibia, Darwin Barney, and Melvin Upton. Man, that's not good company.

Buchholz is now 22th in FIP and 12th in xFIP among starters. He's our ace.

Kelly has the same fWAR as Lackey this year so far. Also, he's got a better xFIP than Lackey. Craig has been a huge disappointment so far and in my opinion he should be at AAA, but I don't think the Lackey trade was so bad as many people think it was.

Just got a phone call from my friend. He says....Vazquez, Brian Johnson and Margot for Hamels. Is your friend Amaro? Ben would laugh at that.

Mookie is not quite JBJ in center field. Even if he were, he wouldn't have caught that ball

Why can't teams move between leagues? I know it's not common, but it would be very cool to see the AL East with the Red Sox, Yankees, Orioles and Nats.
