Why are you prompted to download the ProBoards app EVERY time you access the site?

Cleaning a loaded gun. Not something that is encouraged in gun safety classes.

I would hate trading Iglesias, because I think he will eventually hit adequately and Bogarts may be better suited to another position.

Could the Red Sox be thinking of making Iglesias part of a package for Rick Porcello?

Do any of the coaches on the GCL starff speak Spanish (other than the trainer)?

The imbalance of this deal for Arizona shows how badly they wanted to rid themselves of Bauer. There have been rumblings in Phoenix for months that Bauer is potentially a serious off-field and clubhouse problem. He thinks he is the next great white rapper, has not shown a focus on pitching, has "his way" of doing everything and has been extremely confrontational with coaches. His act did not sit well with veterans on the team. You can imagine how this plays with Kirk Gibson.

I have not seen a follow up on Johnson's recover since he was hurt. Has there been any news?

I should be able to attend several Fall League games. The challenge is to pick a game when the Sox players are in the lineup. I have not figured out a way to determine that other than to check the lineups from the previous game and to assume that the Boston prospects will play if they did not play in the previous game.

I would like to re-visit this thread in 6 - 7 months when we have a better handle on how these prospects actually perform. Today's Mike Trout could turn out to be Jason Place in just a few months time. Second that motion.

During an 8-year stretch, various MLB organizations thought that the players above were great choices at No. 7, too. There will be a significant risk, no matter how good a prospect looks to the scouts.

The belief that the 2013 draft is not strong is, of course, subject to change. Players can have growth spurts and unexpectedly develop into big time prospects. Other players plateau. Some college players have disappointing junior seasons but, like Devin Marrero, are still held in high esteem by some teams.
Injuries make it difficult for scouts to make projections. Players who have been hurt get well and show skills and tools that were not previously apparent. May is a better time to evaluate a class than October.

Does Aruba have a winter league? IIRC, if there is a winter league in the country of origin of a foreign player he is not allowed to play in Arizona Fall League

When most board members registered for the new forum, it stripped the capital letters from their user names. How did you register with appropriate capitals in your user name, Mike?
