Owens 4.2 IP, 7 BB, 2 WP, had 3 balls on another batter and then they went into a rain delay.

Most everyone on here thought Anderson, Shawaryn, Nogosek, Marrero would sign for under slot last year as well.

Lowell's roster was updated. As of now, no Victor Garcia or Ramfis Berroa.
Cooney, Groome, Oduber, Sciortino, Lopez-Soto, Florentino are listed.

This show pretty much sucks. I miss the old says of having to download RealPlayer to listen to the conference call of the draft online. Much more fun.

A few times this spring I've heard from a friend that the Sox were present at Beau Sulser starts for Dartmouth. I asked Pipeline a question about him a few weeks ago but it didn't get answered. The first time I've seen him mentioned at all about the draft was today on minorleagueball's statistical senior signs. A name to watch, I think.

In that time frame (May 17 to Jun 8) Betts has been very unlucky. 4th worst xBA-BA differential, 6th worst xwOBA-wOBA differential. As you can see here he has only 2 hits on 4 barreled balls and 1 hit on 7 hard contacts. 32 of his 75 batted balls have been >95 MPH, 42%, which is much better than the 32% league average. His Contact% on swings is a tick down at 83.1%... 84.4% on the year... 86.8% career.

Jose Almonte is holding up well in the launching pad that is the California League, .350 BABIP aside.
He's kept his groundball rate near 50% and his strikeout rate has jumped to 29%, 73 K in 57 IP.

What was/is Chatham's injury? Never was mentioned on here, at least not when searching his name.

I was surprised to see Chavis has one of the lowest Pull% (39.6%, 59th/74 qualified) in the Carolina League, but when he pulls the ball in the air it's destroyed. 19-22 9 HR, 8 2B, 2 1B.
His Swinging Strike rate is 58th/74, 15.8%.
